My sister's deathly allergic to cats, and so is my girlfriend, but I'm currently living alone so I can have a kitty! But not really.
Anyway, friend is going out of town for long weekend, giving me her cat for a week. He is a gray tabby, fuzzy, just under a year old, and very very sweet. Doesn't like being held, but super curious. The moment she let him out of his holder, he started exploring my house.
Last night, I was playing SC and he came in and started batting my arm. Then he hopped up on my lap and started pawing the keyboard. I didn't win that game, but I didn't care. :D
And then when I went to bed, he came to bed with me and curled up next to me :3 and then again this morning :3
I love cats. I have to get one now.

Oh, I totally share your experience.
I didn't like cats as a kid because of bad experiences and blabla but then when I was around 17 me and my sister had too look after a ragdoll and she was such an awesome creature.
It just didn't give a fuck, totally been a cat person ever since.
But can't keep a cat in my apartment

Disappointed Espelz is very disappointed because of the lack of cute pictures of fuzzy gourgeousness. But still happy for you, living with a cat, even if its only for a few days, is just sooo great !!(prepare to wake up early though if the cat wants you to, the last time in had a cat for a week i got up at 6. am every morning because ... well, lets say those Simons Cat videos speak the truth....)

Heh... funny. I just got a cat myself. Although nobody I know is allergic, and I live by myself. Found her begging for attention as I was making a pizza delivery earlier tonight (or I guess last night, since it's almost 5:00 a.m. here). A middle-aged guy walked by as I was petting her and told me to take it cause some folks just moved out (I was in an apartment complex) and he had been feeding her the last several days, so I stuffed her in my car. The sad part is she didn't know what was going on so she was on edge and it was crazy busy so I couldn't make a stop home until I was off work, so she kept trying to escape. Eventually I had to keep her in my trunk . But now that she's in my room she's calmed down and is resting next to me wanted to be scratched, as cats do.
So now I have a [very needy/demanding, but lovable] cat.
