Btw Stephano best Zerg in this tour period. He displayed some awesome micro while still having a solid macro. I miss that with a lot of zergs.
Idra is just life-tilt should take a break imo its pretty sad to see him fail

MC does it to entertain, for the joy of the game. Idra does it because he's an insecure personality. You might notice that MC performs ceremonies out of joy when he wins, and all the controversies about manner that Idra creates are when he loses.

Idras a better player than Tarson, but Idra isn't that much better that if he makes a mistake, Tarson can't capitalize. Play safer. IdrA isn't a better player than Tarson... Tarson vs MC should be interesting, I hope that Tarson will play agressive
Idra absolutely dominated 3 games out of 5 against Tarson. Also previous results speaks in favor of Idra.

Naniwa might have pulled a 2-1 but I don't see MC losing a bo7 to him. So you are just going to write Huk out of this totally then? Even though he has the best chance to win it currently. Right, should've rephrased that to include Huk as well. I don't see Huk winning either. Naniwa pretty much won 3 games against MC, only 1 small obs mis-micro lost him the game, how exactly do you not see him winning a Bo7 vs MC? Every PvP is decided by small things. MC has seen that Naniwa heavily favors robo tech into fast colossi (does the same in almost all matchups) and MC will show why no one in Korea seems to want to go colossi. With MC having the chance to look over the replays and see what timings he could have had and why he lost game three I don't see him falling again. He was in a superior position in game 3 until he got out-upgraded and his generic safe composition got countered by Naniwa's. Only if you assume that Naniwa is just going to do the same thing again. Naniwa have done heavy blink play in the past, dts which seem popular atm. I do hold MC as the favorite if they meet in the final but I can easily see Naniwa winning a bo7 with the advantage of winner bracket.
We'll see, it's a volatile matchup and I'm not going to argue that Nani can take games off MC. I just find it highly unlikely. No one has a 100% win rate so MC is not going to always win, but when the series is longer the better player is more and more likely to win, and I think MC is the better PvPer. Definitely look forward to it, MC will only start down one game. Though Huk could always beat Naniwa and Huk v MC would be interesting.

In MlG colombus in the lower bracket they didn't do thing like if the past opponents won 2 games, he just needed to win one more game to close the bo3?

idra wasn't over hyped in broodwar. he trained so hard on the CJ b-team, lost to trap 1-2 in a very standard macro TvP in the GOMTV classic 2 in the first round, and basically dominated every single amateur foreigner event after he'd been training professionally for three years in korea. minus his fluke loss to nony in TSL3, is there a single amateur event that idra participated in he didn't dominate? plus his liquibition loss to f91 doesn't count because it was laggy and f91 is a pro in china anyways.

He's a good player of course, but he's no better than an average Code S Korean, even when his mentality isn't pulling him down. And lately he seems to be getting worse, presumably due to suboptimal practice conditions and being lazy/arrogant.
So many Koreans were better BW players too, I don't know why people even bring up his BW history :/

Idra, and Nony, are overhyped in BW because they were only good for foreigners. Best kid in the special class and all that? Loads of Koreans are former BW players, and many of them were better than Idra ever was.

I'm a big MC fan myself so of course I'm biased, but I have almost never seen a LR go to shit when MC has lost. There might be excuses made for him but no one whines. It's the opposite, one MC lost to Naniwa this thread got extremely obnoxious with pro-foreigners/anti-Korean sentiments.
