That said, that was a fun casual commentary and certainly a different flavor from the cerebral or the excitement based commentary. Nice to see the players have fun. As soon as IdrA loses every LR-thread ends in a shitstorm sadly.
Unfortunately this.
I remember the NASL LR threads where he lost to zenio in a macro game and zenio "just coin flipped after getting outplayed" I like Idra's playstyle for the most part, he's very refined, but he seems to tilt far too easily and almost defeats himself while there happens to be someone playing against him. If he learned to control his emotions a little bit better, he could be the unstoppable killing machine from the first day of Columbus every time he played.

Imo he should be able to win a BO5 since he managed to beat MC but then again HuK claims to be beating MC all the time in practice... I'd give the edge to Nani here, his PvP just seems a lot better. The thing in HuK's favour though is that he's on a roll atm, so he might have a lot of confidence and his usually shaky PvP might get a boost because of that. Looking forward to the series no matter who wins ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) ! It's going to be so interesting. I feel that Naniwa has the superior BO/macro, micro-wise I really don't know who is better.

I've known from Tarson last year(september to novembre that he was a beast in the TvT match up. When Terran was dominating every online tournaments in Europe(Go4sc2), Kas was the best rival of Tarson.
Plus the fact that Tarson is very used to Lan events(IEM Cologne + Europe + World) and some other lans(France and Europe). There is no suprise that he beats the young Thorzain
And maybe to answer more correctly :D, I think he used the common strat in TvT Marine, Medivac Tank, Viking :p

Idras a better player than Tarson, but Idra isn't that much better that if he makes a mistake, Tarson can't capitalize. Play safer.
Nah he's not, he just lost a bo3 to Tarson .

You want that reputation, then you also have to deal with the consequences of acting like a dick to those around you. If Idra is one, then so is MC , slashing throats, provoking opponents, thumbing down etc Much worse then simply not saying "gg". People love to hate idra, i get it, they wish they had his skill, all haters are jealous.
Don't even compare MC to idra. MC is a much better player, cooler guy, funnier personality, way more people like him, and has so much fewer haters.

I don't know why people keep harping on Idra's mentality so much. The truth about Idra is that he's just vastly overrated - at least in comparison to the size of his fanbase - and he tends to lose in the most spectacular ways. People saying his "mentality" is the only weakness to his playing style are vastly overestimating an overhyped Brood War B teamer who never saw the light of day.

THIS!! People praising IdrA for saying what he thinks, then other pros say what they think and booom it's unacceptable behaviour.

Right, should've rephrased that to include Huk as well. I don't see Huk winning either. Naniwa pretty much won 3 games against MC, only 1 small obs mis-micro lost him the game, how exactly do you not see him winning a Bo7 vs MC?
Every PvP is decided by small things.
MC has seen that Naniwa heavily favors robo tech into fast colossi (does the same in almost all matchups) and MC will show why no one in Korea seems to want to go colossi. With MC having the chance to look over the replays and see what timings he could have had and why he lost game three I don't see him falling again. He was in a superior position in game 3 until he got out-upgraded and his generic safe composition got countered by Naniwa's.
