I'd give you per unit calculations for electric and gas, but its not that important unless your involved and interested in the behind the scenes process. There's a lot of effort put in, and it would be very odd to overlook something like "electricity costs money" This isnt a 13 year old trying to arrange a club house for his teen pals. Everyone is 20-24. Within that age range people have lived in different places and understand bills. If you'd like to verify stuff with your own sums that's cool though. There's plenty of websites where you can look at property, regional energy/water prices, council tax bands for the area etc. a 4-5th person "double" checking the sums isnt a problem to me Then divide those numbers by 4 to get per week totals, and then split that 6 ways, and things end up very cheap.

So saying that at this house you will not be allowed to actually go out on a night and or enjoying the weather just because your trying to go pro? I dont think you need to spend every minute of your walking day trainng when your trying to make a career out of something.

As for the gas/electric/council tax I only pay the equivilent of £160 ish a month for both. I dunno how rates vary across the country, and i only live in a 2 bedroom house so it'll probably be a bit more for this, but even if it was £200 a month for both, youre lookin at £50 per person. I think thats pretty reasonable per person tbh. @geordie i dont think its like that. Unless you live in korea, no pro gamer spends all day every day training imo. You'd get sick of it if you did that, you need times to go out and stuff. I think youre doing a great job Eleaven, everytime someone asks someone you just answer it really prefessionaly and completely accurately. I think your doing Esports a massive favour, and the UK too :D keep up the good work mate and i hope this doesnt fall through or get runied by some prick who wont pay bills on time or just dicks about and doesnt commit enough and doesnt tidy up and stuff. Pisses me off when my GF does that and i can control her lol if youre living with randoms who technically you have no control over it could get a bit sticky :/ all the best anyway, hope this turns out to be really successful :D

I'm currently in the process of writing up a legally sound all party pleasing contract that should help deter any "dicking around" with finances etc. The players coming are all aware of the opportunity, and you have to be taking sc very seriously to even consider something like this. Naturally i'm not expecting the worst, but Id be an absolute fool to not protect myself from the myriad of problems that people could try to cause. (especially with the rise of compensation culture in the last 7-8 years) And to be quite frank If anyone was having some strange problem causing thoughts, I'd hope that "peer pressure" from the 5 other guys they'd be letting down will stop anything like a refusal to pay rent. It would be such an odd scenario, but one out of thousands that has to be considered, and plans put in place to limit the damage any one player could cause. Personally I like all the guys who've come forward so far, and I'm genuinely excited about all of this, but just a couple more weeks of emotionless organising and revising/double checking of everything will help make this whole process so much more pleasant for any player coming along . Regarding your comment on the all day every day thing. In my opinion you are absolutely right, it's bad for your mindset if you have no other distractions or things to enjoy, like exercise or a social life. Of course practising starcraft is a priority for anybody who wants to take part, but rarely is doing one thing so much, that it starts to exclude everything else that makes the normal person happy a good thing. It's just destructive. This reply is a little longer than i originally intended for a Saturday afternoon, but i hope some people appreciate the transparency . If this proves successful I'd like all of my experience with this to be available to help others achieve the same, or more. And if some terrible unforeseen events cause its failure? Well total transparency should ward others away from the same mistakes. (not that i believe any are being made )

It is also too early for me to confirm anything but should somebody drop out and/or I get to a stage where I am 100% ready to confirm a month or so down the line I would love to have a good chat about all of this to potentially get involved. Will add you on skype for a chat / perhaps play a few games if that is cool with you? Cool with me. Nothings final yet.
