Yeah - and Protoss recently switch faster to storm so your mass Vikings will meet 2 Colossi and are kind of useless then. Its mind boggling how people that don't play anywhere near the top of anything make assumptions. Its all about counters. If he goes 2 robo and you go 2 starport, he's pretty much fucked. If you go 2 starports, he scouts it and tricks you with colossus production and has early storm (given he's not bad and clumps all HTs) you will probably be fucked. Its not just about medivac/viking count.

There's so much lamenting here over Korean dominance, yet Huk is not out yet, and he's proven that he can definitely keep up with Korean players. He did beat MMA, after all. No one is saying that the Koreans are genetically superior, just that their scene is much stronger than ours. Huk is part of the Korean scene and so him winning would only be further proof of that.

Dunno what you've been watching :/ In fact they've done it for so long that Naniwa came up with the 2 Colossus w/ range timing attack while completely transitioning into an Immortal double Forge for upgrades plus twilight -> templar tech to take advantage of the overproduction of Vikings which is in popular use in Europe I believe.

Yeah, one boX dictates who is the better player. Especially when the player that lost pretty much gave the last game in the series away when it was pretty much won.

Interacting with the community doesn't make you a worse gamer by any means. Korean dominance has more do to with the (politically incorrect) fact that the average intelligence is higher in Korea and in East Asia in general, and that is also the reason China is pumping out millions of engineers and scientists, and Japan is a leader in hi-tech industries. And that's a big part of the reason why we see Koreans dominating these competitions. User was warned for this post

Perhaps his upgrades weren't there? PvT performance seems to be a strong function of upgrades, for both sides :D

Well now here's DreamHack ^^
