Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.

Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage.

It demonstrates beyond all doubt that the only way to be top level in this game is to train in Korea.

Very disappointing tournament from the foreign players. After MLG, so many Europeans were talking about how the best EU players weren't there and to look towards DH for the real foreign showing. What happened? EU didn't show up one bit. Kas, Happy and others who have such stellar online results didn't even get out of group stages. And I think if the Korean distribution was a little better we would see all four of them in the semi's.

Hard to deny Korea isn't very far ahead after MLG and now DH ...

I remember multiple Europeans saying WhiteRa is the best Protoss in the world and/or the best foreign Protoss. I'm not sure if they truly believed that but hopefully this tournament will bring them back to reality.

He's easily one of the best foreign protoss' even though he can be a little uneven. Even so, foreigner vs korean disparity is maaaassive so it doesn't really mean much. ^^

Terrans now are making fewer medivacs and more vikings in TvP and dominating. It's mind boggling how something that seems so simple took so long for them to discover.

The europeans and american players need to lock themselves in a basement and train non stop,, if they don't the gap keep getting wider..

Bomber will win this tournament,, i'm pretty sure of that.
We promise with a view to hope, but the reason to "accomplish" what we promised would be fear.

He was way behind so he had to put out tons of units, giving him no money for upgrades.
Think about it, if he did get upgrades he couldn't chronoboost warpgates and his army would be smaller, and then look at how close those battles were.

His late game is not great, expansion timing is usually a bit late. In last game, he should double expand once he got lead in early game(3rd and 4th together). He focus more on timing attacks than economy.

whitera's pvp is on par with the koreans (going 2-3 vs MC because of a proxy 2 gate) and his pvt is stellar, just his pvz is really horrible hence his lost vs Moon

Foreigner, but with a Korean playstyle.

Noooo, naniwa :[ Figured he would walk over Moon, guess Moon has been training quite a bit.

Great games between Bomber and MC. While I wanted MC to win, I can't say I'm too disappointed with the results since the games were very fun to watch.

I don't really get what's your problem with the "all Korean" top 4. It is merely a logical consecuence of the training and money put on e-sports in Korea.

It is as simple as that: Those people practice starcraft full time, practicing against other professionals and having to compete over the hardest trophy in sc2, the gsl. If they could not get that top 4, that would mean that either they have some genetic disadvantage or that "foreigners" have the genetic advantage. This is absolutely not possible.

Huk rolls over everyone in this tournament. Why?? Not because he is Korean, but because his ladder games are against other pros. Foreigner ladder games have DEFINATELY lower level opponents. Also, the coaching and mentoring going on at the Korean houses, is definately showing.

I don't mean i would rather see Koreans. I have high hopes for Sheth, T-zain, Nani and everyone who might go there. People leave Korea either pros or burned out.

Strange ho I like watching individual BW games, but cannot get into team leagues, yet in SC2 I love watching them. Well I love GSTL format, not really EGMC format, although 2v2 are fun sometimes.

Yup, the foreigner showing at MLG was actually way better IMHO. I expected the competition to be better here, but alas it really was not.

The only difference was that Idra played well at MLG and not so well at DH.

You realize he just defeated Naniwa? Lol troll thread is troll.

You realize Huk beat Moon 2-0 in group play right?

Huk was so far ahead after the Metalopolis opening and won the 2nd game with a DT rush. Otherwise the games would be a lot closer if you ask me. But we will see. Also July has to play HuK, not moon.

Not sure why Naniwa and Hasu crumble every single time they plays a Korean yet they beat Thorzain who has incredible, close games against Koreans.

There's something not adding up here.

Thorzain plays terran? Not trying to troll about balance, it just seems like Thorzain has been playing in a period of T stability/domination in general in the korean scene. It could be that koreans don't have ZvT and PvT as figured out as they do tvp/zvp/pvp on the current map pool.

Also, Thorzain did beat Naniwa in a best of seven for tsl3. Most would take that as an endorsement of Thorzain being better than Naniwa.
