There's so much lamenting here over Korean dominance, yet Huk is not out yet, and he's proven that he can definitely keep up with Korean players. He did beat MMA, after all. It demonstrates beyond all doubt that the only way to be top level in this game is to train in Korea.

I'm not sure if they truly believed that but hopefully this tournament will bring them back to reality. He's easily one of the best foreign protoss' even though he can be a little uneven. Even so, foreigner vs korean disparity is maaaassive so it doesn't really mean much. ^^

He was way behind so he had to put out tons of units, giving him no money for upgrades. Think about it, if he did get upgrades he couldn't chronoboost warpgates and his army would be smaller, and then look at how close those battles were.

His late game is not great, expansion timing is usually a bit late. In last game, he should double expand once he got lead in early game(3rd and 4th together). He focus more on timing attacks than economy.

Foreigner, but with a Korean playstyle.

Great games between Bomber and MC. While I wanted MC to win, I can't say I'm too disappointed with the results since the games were very fun to watch.

It is as simple as that: Those people practice starcraft full time, practicing against other professionals and having to compete over the hardest trophy in sc2, the gsl. If they could not get that top 4, that would mean that either they have some genetic disadvantage or that "foreigners" have the genetic advantage. This is absolutely not possible. Huk rolls over everyone in this tournament. Why?? Not because he is Korean, but because his ladder games are against other pros. Foreigner ladder games have DEFINATELY lower level opponents. Also, the coaching and mentoring going on at the Korean houses, is definately showing. I don't mean i would rather see Koreans. I have high hopes for Sheth, T-zain, Nani and everyone who might go there. People leave Korea either pros or burned out.

Check out the broodwar streams =D Strange ho I like watching individual BW games, but cannot get into team leagues, yet in SC2 I love watching them. Well I love GSTL format, not really EGMC format, although 2v2 are fun sometimes.

There's something not adding up here. Thorzain plays terran? Not trying to troll about balance, it just seems like Thorzain has been playing in a period of T stability/domination in general in the korean scene. It could be that koreans don't have ZvT and PvT as figured out as they do tvp/zvp/pvp on the current map pool. Also, Thorzain did beat Naniwa in a best of seven for tsl3. Most would take that as an endorsement of Thorzain being better than Naniwa.
