Hello, all! It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully. Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil. Thanks, Empyrean. Time stamp: 03:59 KST.

When someone tells the masses to write a letter to their congressman because they're upset with something they should be "banned"? Idra confronting the mods and admins privately trying to reverse his ban is one thing. Idra sending all his twitter followers to spam Chill's PM box is another thing entirely. 90 day ban is just another favor they gave to Idra instead of banning him permanently. It's really only a matter of time till he's gone for good with the way his ego has exploded this past year.

Combat-Ex was banned for harassing Incontrol on SC2. 4 people were banned for leaving someone stranded at a lan. Well, I suppose that as long it's consistent, it's okay. Glad to see TL is consistent in their actions as always. Somewhat unrelated, but why ban people for leaving someone at a lan; did they just ditch the other guy or what?

After adoring IdrA's stream for a long time now, i really do realize what he means... US "pros" are no where near the level of koreans. IdrA actually laughed during one of his streams playing these "top players" on ladder because of their terrible decision making. The only reason they are here at all (US Pros) is becuase of the uber popularity of sc2. Sc2 is popular for the exact reason that its "easy" to get a high level with MUCH less effort than scBW. None of these players could even touch some renowned veteran in SCBW like Flash or Jaedong. IdrA is the only player from the US who is allowd to say that he is good because he really knows what hes doing. I love all these people on there forums who think they know better and then go back and ladder on their accounts and think they are good. Go try BW and then see how good you are... oh wait, you didnt because it wasnt easy to macro/mico IdrA I understand you bro, dont think everyone is stupid because I realize what you say and back you up 100%. Just laugh at all these people while you get rich playing this game and win out in the long run. I dont see anybody from the U.S in the gsl... Holy US flaming Batman!! I wouldn't recommend attacking an entire country on this forum. There are plenty of talented players in the US, but a LOT of them don't play on ladder because quite frankly, a good portion of the top 200 aren't professionals, they aren't good. Obviously there are players from the US who can beat Koreans, but the gap will close eventually (if it hasn't already) where the US pros are on the same level as the Korean professionals. tl;dr don't flame a country because they like to say they're better. Leave it on Metalopolis, or B.net's forums. Sincerely, An IdrA fan.

We believe for these resources to function properly, they must be comprehensive and complete and thus we do not remove banned pro players from them. Seems completely reasonable as long as the streams and such continue to be listed. IdrA is and always will be epic BM, it's what he does, and TL has the right to ban epic BM from their forums. It just upsets me when good players are completely pushed off a community site. Still keeping the stream and such is the right thing to do in this case.

You didn't answer Chill's question. Having a problem with X is very different from suggesting it gives you a shield against bannage or anything. This ban seems, at least as I read it, to be true regardless of how you feel about the original ban. If you stab someone in prison you get convicted of that crime whether or not you deserved to be in jail in the first place.

He is a great player, but its not like he is completely dominating the NA scene. He is like this because he thinks he is the greatest thing out there, and he's not. Anyone who ever beats Idra is only because they play Protoss or Terran. Thats how it works in his mind and its just so wrong.

We spoke with Idra and he stated that he does not regret his actions and will not change his behavior on our forums. Thus, we've decided to ban him for 90 days. Was the ban length influenced by this conversation? Would the ban have been lifted or revoked if he had apologized?

Ignoring what? Chill and other mods have already stated that watching someone's stream to try to match up with them on ladder is fully acceptable. Cruncher didn't stream cheat. Everyone watching his stream could see that plain as day. Idra lost because he played the same predictable build that Cruncher had been studying.
