Hello, all!
It's become quite apparent that many of you are not reading the first post carefully.
Failure to do so in the future will be met with swift punishment. And as always, remember to be civil.
Thanks,

Yea, but the point is that idrA was goaded into it by Cruncher...

Chill and other mods have already stated that watching someone's stream to try to match up with them on ladder is fully acceptable. Cruncher didn't stream cheat. Everyone watching his stream could see that plain as day. Idra lost because he played the same predictable build that Cruncher had been studying.
If Cruncher was streaming at the same time he sniped Idra, why isn't there a video record of it on jtv to verify for everyone that missed it? You'd think if he was completely innocent he would leave it up there for everyone to see.

3 months seems a little harsh, in my opinion.

idrajit Greg Fields wont be streaming for 2 days as i have been banned from tl for insulting cruncher, everyone pm Chill if this upsets you
no he don't want to apologize, he wants the perm ban :-|

You are a very rare person indeed Chill.
This would upset pretty much anyone. Streaming allows fans to view a good player playing well and interact with the community. If you aren't upset yourself then your fans would be on your behalf. I believe stream ghosting should be a completely bannable offence for around 30 days if not more, and that's not just posting, that's for everything on TL.

Nazi TL on this one.

I don't necessarily think he was encouraging people to "harrass" them. He just said if you have a problem with it message Chill. Whatever though, in the end i think it's better to have IdrA here, streaming on TL. Brings more people here. Hell, he even got 20k to watch Sotg.

hopefully this doesn't affect his streaming. he doesn't really comment on forum pages all that much anyways

It's a pretty traditional ban length for this type of thing, completely expected tbh (I spend too much time looking at the automated ban list).

If you look at this as an isolated incident it might seem that way but Idra been doing this for years.

Yeah I actually rarely acknowledge if he's banned or not, despite his 10k+ posts. He's not the most contributing person in terms of writing, it's mostly 1-liners about the (how he feels it) state of the game.
What will be most apparent is the missing stream feature during the three months to come and the outcry of the fanboys. But for me, it's not like a lot will change (for the forum itself).
Still, I hope he somehow bows to the forum rules. It would be a shame to have one of the most influential players of the scene banned from THE community site.

i hope he doesnt spite all his fans by not streaming,
neccessary ban imo

IdrA acts the way he does because of people like you all (americans) who think they are good at this game. You all are really not, just look at koreans, they actually know what they are doing. After adoring IdrA's stream for a long time now, i really do realize what he means... US "pros" are no where near the level of koreans. IdrA actually laughed during one of his streams playing these "top players" on ladder because of their terrible decision making. The only reason they are here at all (US Pros) is becuase of the uber popularity of sc2. Sc2 is popular for the exact reason that its "easy" to get a high level with MUCH less effort than scBW. None of these players could even touch some renowned veteran in SCBW like Flash or Jaedong. IdrA is the only player from the US who is allowd to say that he is good because he really knows what hes doing. I love all these people on there forums who think they know better and then go back and ladder on their accounts and think they are good. Go try BW and then see how good you are... oh wait, you didnt because it wasnt easy to macro/mico
IdrA I understand you bro, dont think everyone is stupid because I realize what you say and back you up 100%. Just laugh at all these people while you get rich playing this game and win out in the long run. I dont see anybody from the U.S in the gsl...

Coming from a dude with United States in his Location.
That's smart. Really it is, did you even think before you posted?

Idra should keep him BM to his stream and games and not on TL T.T. Should be funny to see him return tho and see what hes like then....

You didn't answer Chill's question. Having a problem with X is very different from suggesting it gives you a shield against bannage or anything. This ban seems, at least as I read it, to be true regardless of how you feel about the original ban. If you stab someone in prison you get convicted of that crime whether or not you deserved to be in jail in the first place.
Oh no in my first post I said I completely understood the reason for the ban. I'm not saying it's not right or not in TL's rightful authority to give idra this 90day ban.
My issue is that I feel like both idra and cruncher are in the wrong here. If it's Chill's opinion that stream ghosting isn't a punishable offense, then he doesn't see cruncher as being in the wrong. That's also completely fine, but this sets the precedent that TL can't punish anyone for ghosting a TL member's stream while claiming objectivity.

Bad decision.
It's so hypocritical and basically ganging up at this point. You guys have decided in your little clique to stand up to this; but the majority of TL mods have dissed and insulted people in the name of drama in the past.

Idra fan here: Ban away, because in the competitive SCII world, Idra is the heel character that fans love to see antagonize everyone. For everyone 1 fan that complains about Idra getting banned, 3 more Idra fans will reminisce fondly about his delightfully epic penchant for being a BM dbag ban-magnet.

Well deserved, his behavior is pretty indefensible.

Megalomania..., not very mature by him
