In preparation for the final I have at 9 am-- which is in three and a half hours.
This is kind of silly because I haven't actually had the final yet-- but I have an enormous sense of relief and excitement to be done with the reading! It was so overwhelminggggg. (Academic papers suck. Bullshit writing meant to obscure meaning, and not intended to share ideas or educate people, just to give the author importance in their narrow academic circle.)
The terrible thing is that I have to go back through my notes and memorize so much shit for the non-essay part of the exam, because this is-- art history. And it's obnoxious because about half the final is staring at slide after slide of paintings and writing down the title, painter, date, and significance of the work. Ugh. So much memorizing. .______.
I have the urge to wildly celebrate the accomplishment of reading and understanding all of that, but I am short on time and must make sure to memorize the cold hard facts-- so I am posting my enthusiasm on TL to get it out-- and back to studying.
Gl to everyone else dealing with finals!
