well, not exactly. but most people just like to enjoy the series for what it is. you're spreading a bad mood, for no apparent reason.

Why are people fighting about who the better player is? If ThorZain is the better player, then good for him! He's better than MC now! If MC is the better player, ThorZain still beat him. Victory went to ThorZain because he played brilliantly, not because MC failed some all in or something. These were macro games and everything about it was awesome. It doesn't matter who's better. ThorZain won, we are allowed to celebrate his win. Stop trying to take away the awesomeness of his win. Haters gonna hate.

He had it won before he went into Mcs main and sacrificed like 6-8 medivacs and his entire army for 2 pylons and a dark shrine. Pretty humongous blunder imo. That's not apart of his "build" that was in question here. That was a strategic decision.

Give Thorzain 8months in oGs house, 5 qualifier chances of GSL and you think he wouldn't as well as MC? Were talking about who is better not who is more talented. Hard work goes just as far as natural talent in starcraft.

That's one example of bad decision-making, but with that as the proof of "clearly the better player" I still can't see it, I need more explaining to understand.

In that case it's kind of a poor way to put it, why not say that Thorzain had much better builds and upgrades while MC had better micro/macro? That seems less likely to draw fire from the internet and doesn't take away from Thorzain's ability as a player. Sorry ^_^ Thorzain came up with great builds, I'm not taking anything from him. However I haven't found his mechanics notable (not bad, just not notable) so I don't know how he'll hold up once people adapt. In particular how will he do against people who upgrade early and don't respond badly to funky builds?

Kas is a complete player, while Thorzain is just good on TvP with his upgrade timmings and non common army composition. Protoss still didnt figure a way to deal efficiently with heavy thor build, yeah there are several possible ways to deal with it, but everyone seems to have a possible way and everytime there is a game with heavy thor composition usually you see something different from the protoss usually failing. It's strange why terrans dont use that more often. So go and watch the copenhagen tournament and you have your Kas vs MC serie. + Show Spoiler + MC is up 3-0

I don't know if he would do as well as MC considering i can't predict events 8 months in the future if all those circumstances occurred. Thorzain is fantastic though and i wish he would go to Korea to compete because he deserves a chance in the GSL. I would argue that the better player is not relative to one certain match up though on one day.
