P wins: Protoss is easy, the Zerg played so well and still lost. Bad game. Z wins: The Zerg player had to out play the Protoss so much, the Protoss player is just terrible. Can't we just enjoy the games?

During that drop, Morrow's macro was non-existent and it feels like Morrow could have finished it really earlier. Do you even play the game? Doing that kind of drop automatically puts your macro behind, you can't do both at the same time. Also, no he couldn't end it much earlier without either taking big risks or relying on dumb luck.

What exactly stopped Morrow from dropping/nydusing/attacking the third/fourth on Metal? Nothing but his own passivity. Remember that ling that was blocking the third? Cannon gets vision but doesn't have range, and Hasuobs' army moves in to kill it? Perfect time for a drop/nydus in the back of the main to snipe a key tech structure.

Why was day9 so critical of that? spanishiwas build gets gas late but then you get 4 gas, as soon as lair is done (about the normal time) you can quickly get drops and overlord speed and hydra den at the same time, setting you up nicely for a really strong timing push.

It did so much damage because he went stargate though. Well, Morrow didn't do any damage to Hasu's production. The natural had all of the gateways and other buildings, and Morrow didn't touch that.

BEcause of a semi all in drop that's designed to counter early stargate play to be more specific. It was a specific build used for a specific moment, not some new gameplay style Zergs need to employ. July did the same thing to Mc in the finals (except with hydras, but the idea stands). Any time you open with a really quick stargate theres a good timing for Zerg to use overlord drop.
