Team Riker's Strikers
MC Tyler QXC SeleCT Drewbie iNcontroL Naniwa CatZ Artosis
I like my mix of players as tempting as it was to go straight protoss. Also i didn't pick idra because as good as i know he is, the attitude he has towards his ZvP's scares me. I don't know if he can get over his mindset of the "ZvP is imbalanced so i'm not gonna win anyways...why bother". I picked CatZ as the only zerg in my roster because i really think he has such unique styles and hasn't developed that "zerg is underpowered" mindset so he still finds unique styles to try and win. Plus he's just cool.

Just to let everyone know, the teams will be locked at 5PST tonight!!
So there's still time to get a team in for this season of NASL action, go now and get a team before it's too late!!

Nice to have SC2 fantasy.
I felt a lot of strong players were too expensive. So I built on quantity: Morrow Ensnare Squirtle SeleCT KiWiKaKi Naniwa Socke ClouD Slush HasuObs Strelok Sheth Axslav

I wish I knew how to pick my players =\

Thank you, I couldn't find the add nasl-team page.

Just FYI, apparently whoever runs this is updating the points live as the games play out, which makes it way more cool.

Thanks man! We're trying our best to make things as engaging as possible, and we'll do our best to live update the site
If anyone has any ideas for improvement, feel free to leave some comments here. We're always looking to improve each season.
This was an exciting first night!

Here's a quick and dirty performance calculation for your team's day 1 result:
1) Add up the salary of your Division 1 players 2) Divide it by 9 (number of division games to be played) 3) Divide it by your score for today
For my team, division 1 costs 400 minerals (KiWiKaKi, TLO, Sheth, ViBE) and scored 8 points. The performance value of my team is 5.5 minerals/point. This value is in the low range of the expected 4.9~7.1 minerals. We can conclude my team is performing decently so far.

Using Primadog's method of calculating...
1. 200(TLO)+150(KiWi)+50(Sheth)=400 2. 400/6(total games player, 2 each) = 66.66666 3. 66.66666/10= 6.66666
Not bad, not bad at all. TLO and Sheth are worth it, KiWi.... meh.
|
I think Kiwi broke a lot of hearts last night.
|
1) 250(Morrow) + 200(TLO) = 450 2) 450 / 4 = 112,5 3) 112,5 / 12 = 9,375
two of my most expensive players, but Team Europe is doing perfect so far
edit: and now my most expensive player gets a 0:2 defloss...
|
Edit: Nvm, looked in the sidebar
|
why dont i see my own team in the group ranking?

Will Fantasy NASL change NaNiwa's scoring to 0 instead of -2 since NASL changed the ruling to "he will remain at 0-0 and will not be fined."
|
One bad thing about Fantasy NASL: I now feel the urge to root against players whom I almost pick but didn't. Which is really lame since obviously I almost picked them because I like them. Case in point: HasuObs, who got sacrificed so I could fit in places 1,2, and 3 from MLG Dallas.

I see I'm in 12th place out of 2000+ by ticking from the cheapest up until I ran out of money. Actual strategy isn't cool.

but i agree that a lot of the prices were a joke, hasuobs for 50 or even naniwa (who won mlg) for 100, while players like grubby (who didnt even make it out of the open bracket at mlg) cost more
