Maybe because that's his name IRL Mortican, but yeah it's kinda funny to see so many people who only know him second-hand through SC2, there needs to be some more diggin' done!

It can, in fact, mean better macro.
You don't seem to understand. As stated Day9 was the one that said that liquid Tyler had a propensity for not making enough unit producing structures.
So if you would like to imply Day9 doesn't understand.. good luck with THAT.
lol, heaven forbid Day9 could be wrong in anything ever!
In any case, what he was actually saying was that since Nony has such tight builds and macro, he thinks he can get away with less gates than other players, which sometimes leads to him not having enough gates if his macro slips or he wants to reinforce quickly after battles. Nony's been known for his extremely thought-out and practiced builds since BW and this whole not enough gates thing doesn't disprove it, it actually backs it up.
I am going to go out on a limb and assume he pronounces his own name correctly.
I might be wrong but I thought the story was that Artosis and Tasteless kept on mispronouncing it "NewKnee" and it stuck since they reached the masses through their casting. It has gotten to the point where I think Tyler actually pronounces it NewKnew as well. But originally it was supposed to be No-nie.

Nony is a nickname that my brother gave me when I was about 5 and he was about 7. It doesn't have any meaning at all. It is pronounced like the words 'knew' and 'knee'. Knew-knee with equal emphasis on both syllables. He still calls me that today and my friends called me that when I was a child."
I think it's funny how all these people didn't know how to pronounce his name haha I've only been apart of the community for a little over a year and a half now (back when BW was still the talk of the town) and even I knew it Would love to see nony win tsl. Would be so~~ sick if we had a defending champion -- slash I'm just a really big fan heh

No. It is the opposite.
"New Knee" is the correct pronounciation. Of course people would start pronouncing it "No Knee" when they did not know the correct pronounciation, because that's how it looks like it should be pronounced.
Also, "Tyler" is pronounced "Tai Ler", not "teeler". For some reason people have started propagating this misspelling/mispronounciation, which started as a joke based on the fact that everyone mispronounced his former nick.
Unlike all the other foreign players, nony is a progamer
This makes him better and stand out amongst all the other gamers
You know this, because when he was in korea, whilst it is a shame he dropped out, the other progamers described him as "someone with a talent to be an A level teamer" - i.e he is a genuine progamer
Nony is the kinda guy who can just win TSL because hes that awesome
I agree, this post would have been more appropriate for his fanpage; however, I share your sentiment! NoNy is an amazing player. I've been a huge fan of his since he won TSL2. He used a probe to beat IdrA in a key match. Who can say they used a single worker and won a game in a tournament like TSL? That's right, NoNy can.
