I know it is a really hard job and it is not like they work professionally in front of a camera for 10 years, and I'm fine with that and I think Doa and Kelly are both doing a really good job considering their experience, and I don't have a problem with Kelly like other people here. Their commentary just doesn't provide me with any additional information about the game, so I don't listen to it. Many people here should give Kelly more chances though, it seems like she gets a lot of hate just because of her accent (which really isn't that bad) and most of her haters just claim that she is talking nonsense which she not really does. When she says something about the game, it is always intelligent and she usually has a good understanding of what is going on (more than Doa if you ask me, but maybe he is just shy/playing his caster role).

But I kind want Lil' Susie back, and not because I want her to replace anyone. I just miss her <3 She was great with Korean + English and her interviews streamlined way better for Western audiences.

For Kelly right now as a non native english speaker I have trouble understanding her while I'm fine with Tastosis and DOA, I miss half of Kelly's words. So I'm better of muting code A right now as I can't make sense of half of what is said. It makes me sad because she has the passion and when I do manage to understand her she can be funny or even offer insight on the game.

Before that is being able to stand her. There is no doubt that, depending on the environment you were brought up in or with effort put into it you can understand what she says. But people shouldn't have to put forth effort in order to enjoy a game. The caster's role on the other hand is nothing but to help us to enjoy the game. When we find his voice and accent to be detrimental to that then we can't enjoy the game. When there are problems in understanding him then his words become reduced to noise, which is detrimental to the enjoyment of the game. It means that a caster is not suited for the job. Accent and voice might not be his fault, but the unfortunate reality is that it is a major criterion to anyone who wants to become a caster. Each caster has his season to do his best to fill that role, while we fans and customers have to put up with it. After that it is up to GOM. Which brings me to the other point. The interview is indeed pretty vague. No new information was made available, but the already known was reinforced. It is worded in a way that leaves room for "all casters undergo a trial period and [Name] is not our surest choice" and "we hired [Name] for his/her experience on live events". The latter of the two I disagree with and if that turns out to be GOM's way of thinking then I will be disappointed, because attendance of (jobs at) events really doesn't say anything about casting ability at all. It just means that the person was there.
