I never thought the day would come when I'd say StarCraft:BroodWar is dead, but it is. StarCraft V is just THAT good. Everything is better. When I play StarCraft V it's like eating a steak. The highs are true, the lows are rumbling, and everything in between just feels full. Not full like you've eaten too much, but full like you're completely satisfied. If I could describe StarCraft V as accurately as possible, I would say that just thinking about it turns my blood into sweet, sweet honey.
I think the best decision Goolard made with SC:V—though they were all great—was to have Silvester Stalone do the voice acting for every unit. It really makes the StarCraft come to life for me, and adds a new, previously unexplored layer of strategy to the game. I mean, when you can hear thirty Silvester Stalones chatting to each other at the top of your cliff, that's when you know your workers are going to automatically run away. I like when a game allows me to predict what is going to happen next.
Finally the dream has come true. Thanks to Goolard and SC:V, ESPORTS are bigger than sports ever were, and nerds around the world can rejoice as we collectively enjoy the title of 'progamer.' I spent my childhood fantasizing about what it would be like to be a progamers, and Goolard has finally made that a reality. Finally I can stop being a bitter old man.
