For some months now I've been pointing people to the daily on ladder, at uni and generally just around the place. But it's getting to the stage where Day has put out so much stuff that you can get lost in it. So I thought it would be interesting to survey the community for thoughts on the best of the best- which dailies do you rate above all others. The reason this is in community is as a help to people looking to throw some SC content to people who are new to this sort of thing, as well as to highlight some of Day9's amazing content to those who only started watching recently.
I think it's safe to put the following dailies in the list automatically: # 50 and 65 (BGH fun casts, god I wish he'd do some more of these, they've gotten like six or seven people I know into starcraft)
#100 (my life of starcraft)
#252 (study on mechanics, a-la- the original day9 casts of ye olde era)
excluding the above, please feel free to nominate a daily in the following categories:
Best daily overall: Best analytic daily: Best funday monday: Most newbie friendly daily: Best SC1 daily:
Don't feel obligated to vote in every category. once a few have come in, I'll make a new thread with links to them all and polls to narrow it all down.

Chill vs Combat-Ex series
Edit: I would imagine Daily #1 should get recognized. It did start this whole phenomenon.

not a daily. Just stick to those for the moment guys, If this works out I might try and organize a general SC content version of this.

Was gonna post the 50 and 65 BGH casts before I saw them in the OP. Those are by far some of his best. Wish he would do something like that again.
|
Newbie: (#252) #257 #261 (mechanics 1-2-3) Funday: #204 (Team monobattles)
|
Best dailies overall:

#100 imo
But special recognition should go to the one with the "trumpets" joke! *_*

Best funday monday: 200 (Uniden, The letter J)
|
Best SC1 daily: episode #3, Flash vs FBH
To anyone who doesn't find TvT interesting or doesn't understand the subtleties of the matchup, this is truly an eye-opener. He points out so many things that you wouldn't even think of if you were just watching the game alone.
