- prize pool distribution - format of the matches (BO?, map picks, single elim, etc.) - how the players will be matched (random?) - dates of the casts
I know some of it was answered in a previous announcement and/or in this thread, but I think this information is hard to find atm while it should be readily accessible. Prize pool distribution as well as a few of these other items were released in the PokerStrategy.com TSL3 Announcement Thread. The format for the tournament is a 32-man single-elimination bracket (see Hot_Bid's post just a bit above yours). Number of games per round and map procedures will be announced closer to the start of the tournament. Dates of the casts are yet to be announced, but will be released soon.

These details will be released closer to the first broadcast date in March. FAQ seems fine to me. The first broadcast date will obviously be announced soon seeing as qualifiers end this weekend.

I'm sorry if this was answered already.
Are you guys still gonna continue the fan greet and meet with the finalist? If so, when and where will you guys do it? (Hopefully its commuter friendly)
Thanks and more power!

Hi, as a newbie to eSports there are a few very basic things I don't understand which aren't covered in the FAQ.
1) Where can I watch the games (a) live; and (b) on demand.
2) When does the round of 32 start? This is what i really want to watch.
Hopefully I can get a response to these questions. Thanks.

Hopefully I can get a response to these questions. Thanks. You'll be able to watch the games here via a streaming service, and VODs will be uploaded to the Teamliquid.net Youtube channel.
Who is casting? When's the broadcast schedule?

I actually haven't been able to find this information, so I'm asking here: Are the games going to be casted live or from replays? I love watching live games much more, though of course I'll still follow them if they're not.

The casts are done from replays, this resolves any lag or technical issues before hand.
|
Concerning lag, what about KR-EU games that will probably have horrible lag, how will that be played?
|
Will we get an interview with Strelok?
|
Searched abit but couldn't find any answers. When will this happen? When will the first round be?

Sorry for the ignorance...
Do they finish all the matches in 1 day on the 19th or will the latter matches happen the following days or following Saturday typically?
|
Non-game related: In the FAQ it mentions that the artist who did that wonderful teaser portrait of Tyler would do a similar one for each qualifier; will be be able to see these when they're done?
|
Maybe someone already asked it, but: What BO"X" Series is this? BO5 and Final BO7? Or something else? Please enlighten me!
|
I am interested in the answer to the previous question aswell, did not find it even after browsing the faq

The Day 1 matches are posted here http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=199686 and all those will be played, the day 2 matchs will be announced later

I'l like to reiterate the quesion regarding the lag issues between Korea and EU. Seen it asked many times (by me as well ), yet no answer. Will the players simply have to deal with it? That would suck considering how much they're fighting for.
