And on Kelly the new caster, inital impression was bad, lots of mistakes and she seemed a bit overwhelmed but as the games went on she settled down and got into it. She would benefit, I think, from speaking a touch more slowly, she talks quite quickly and her pitch raises when she does, and her game knowledge doesn't compare to Tasteless or Artosis (not that I'd expect it to) but if she works to improve, who knows, maybe she'll become a staple part of the GSL. And also want to say, f-HUK YEAH! Go little Canadian man, awesome showing.

Kelly overall preformed great. You can tell she had a few nervous reactions in her commentary, but when she felt calm she was great!

Huk's games were so good to watch. And holy crap, I wish I could deal with lings slipping into my base that smoothly. The first time he not only lost no probes, but lost VERY VERY little mining time. He'd just feint towards the lings with like 4-5 probes and then bam right back to mining as soon as the lings back off. So cool to watch. I was really worried there for him! Huk fighting!! I'm very dissapointed in Kelly though. This is the GSL, the biggest starcraft tournament in the world, at least hire a caster who has game sense. I won't discredit her for her voice or accent, although I did get tripped up at the accent part occasionally. In huk's first game against curious Kelly suggests that zerg shouldn't take a third base fast vs fast expand toss. What else is zerg gona do? go 2 base defensive and die? Also, she disapproves on how curious' forth is so far away. Unless curious as gona expand into huks colossus range, he had to expand to the other side of the map. This is like saying expanding to somone else's natural on lost temple is far for a third when you are close ground locations with the opponent. Further, the combination of her and tasteless is just not as funny as artosis and tasteless. Lets face it. Part of the GSL is fun to watch, especially code A just because of the interactions between casters.

Today's Code A games were quite interesting, we've seen a lot of different playstyles, But I must admit that Loner's play kind of disappointed... His builds didn't seem very efficient, and although he showed good harass techniques in game 1, his overall play didn't look confident. Also I loved watching Revival vs ButterflyEffect, man I have a feeling this Zerg got a huge potential. Nonetheless the fact that his Terran opponent made some big mistakes is undeniable. If I may input some feedback about casters; well kelly did better than I anticipated , to be honest she's perfectly fine when she talks at slow & normal speeds. Also it's nice to see that she's definitely making efforts in order to fit in the casting team. Her humor may not please some people but it's definitely not over the top. I can't wait for the rest of the Code A tournament I'm rooting for HayprO, Ret, as well as St_Ace. Huk Fighting ! + Show Spoiler + edit: 1337th post

As for the guys whining about her accent, I bet your accent sounds pretty funny to her.

That made me laugh. I thought Kelly would be annoying to listen to, but the microphone they use at the GSL is so much better than the one they used in the sample video I heard her on earlier. It does get awkward when she is trying to be cute and they don't have the dynamic that Tastosis has, but it should get a LOT better in a few days when they get used to casting together. It improved like a hundred percent from the first match to the second, so a few more days of casting and they are good to go. We didn't get to hear about the vegan powers or how harmful a soda bottle can be and we got some awkward giggling instead. A fair exchange... :p I prefer Tastosis, but it could have been a lot worse. Awesome game by Huk, I was sure he would loose the first set, but he came back with a vengance - without Colossi!
