Please talk about the games in this thread. If you feel the desire to rage about something, bottle it up inside you and lash out elsewhere. Thanks! |

What are you talking about? HuK looked terrible today and he played a really bad zerg player. This Posh guy however looked really good against Butterfly. If Huk makes it to top8 I will be really surprised.
Losiras and Huks games were really bad and hard to watch, there were no winners there. This zerg with a dozen names however looked really impressive.

Great games by HuK! He was clearly the dominant player in the 8 we saw so far. Although I admit I was kinda stressed out during his first match. Most of the other matches seemed a bit subpar imho... Kinda disappointed in Loner's play as well.
Kelly did a good job for her first time there. I think it's clear she's working hard and we can only respect her and support her on that.

I don't think kelly was bad or anything like that it is just that tasteless is not an analysis guy and kelly could not fill that role (if anything she fills more of the tasteless role) so the casting kind of fell flat for me. I think kelly+artosis will be a much better combo, we will see. Loving the new maps!

I thought his bit about explaining the builds orders and not interrupting him while hes trying to talk about build orders was hilarious. I've always liked tasteless alot more than artosis. When you're at a level where you already understand whats going on in a high level SC2 game I dont need Artosis giving all this detailed insight. I understand alot of people do, but I watch these games to be entertained so I prefer tasteless' style

Good games by HuK, hope he makes it to the Up and Down matches.
Actually, this I expected- no matter who they had as co-caster. Caster synergy will take awhile and will be awkward in the mean time (overtalking each other etc.) However that I think should improve over time as they become more comfortable with their respective casting styles. (And Tasteless gets used to not having Artosis all the time.)

Yea I was not a fan of this to be honest. Then again, we don't always know what goes on behind the scenes and maybe someone was talking crap about him or what not. However, it seemed a little awkward, maybe he was just super nervous/excited or something.
As for Kelly and Tasteless, it was way better than I thought it might have been. The longer they all cast together the better this is going to get. They really need to start spending more time together, all three of them to get comfortable with each other and give a laid back, relaxed feel to each duo.
I also miss the excitement that Artosis can being into the game. Hopefully they find a way to get that in there in the coming casts.

I don't post often but felt compelled: thought Kelly was brilliant for her first day (admittedly she sounds a bit like a mongoloid with certain words) but surprised how much she knew and really enjoyed listening.
I would definitely smash her in the brown.

Just finished watching the videos.
Kelly isn't that bad. I expected worse... She does know what she's talking about, and while her humor isn't as good as tasteless' it's not bad.
The only thing that really annoys me is her accent. Maybe it's just me, but I really hope she can work on it to make it more "normal" sounding. Hope to see some improvements

The games today were really exciting, That first game with HuK on Tal'Darim was one of the most intense games I've seen in a while. I had absolutely no idea which way that game was going to go for the longest time. I hope HuK will win code A, with his teammates Ret and Haypro close behind of course. Liquid Fighting!
|
HuK was clearly nervous and didn't play at his best ... Also his forcefields on metalopolis were amazing, especially zergling cage near his expo
|
Huk's 1st game was intense! .. it was a nice playday. As for Kelly, she's not as bad as they put her out to be, she's actually a pretty decent caster, although I think her role in casting kinda collides with tasteless' one.
They'll grow better in time though, so we should just wait. I'm happy as long as they never replace tastosis in code S.

kelly is kind of like the female version of superdanielman paired with tasteless. pretty fair debut but the games today weren't all that good so it's not like there was much to work with.
|
Today, I wear my TL shirt with pride! Good stuff HuK. Keep on fighting! The games were pretty strong and I will with hold my opinion on Kelly after some more games. I hope she can improve, gain more chemistry with Tasteless/Artosis, and just become a better caster overall.
GL Kelly and Congrats to all the winners.

Does anyone know where I can find the HuK interview VOD? I looked all over the GOMTV website and couldn't find it. :-(

Glad HuK was able to 2-0 his way through the first round; but i don't feel he will be as fortunate with his opponent next round - we all know he has some incredible skills, that is without a doubt; i just hope he gets over the nerves now that he has dominated a series and shows us what we all know he is capable of in the next round..
The many-named zerg looked the most solid of all in the first round..

Milkie Wit Tank! You started off with such a nice, complimentary statement - interesting way to end it off :/
