This thread is for discussing skindzer's article "Hidden Expo" from Pony Tales #3. You can read the article in the magazine itself (Download).
Besides your opinions We are also interested to hear about other people who follow Starcraft from "uncommon" places.
Finally we would like to thank Shr3dd3r, oo_xerox_ and Jump for their collaboration. Without them this article would have been impossible to write or would simply be fan fiction.

I'm sitting in the engineering computer lab as I read the winter issue.
The epilogue literally gave me chills. So damn true.
Nvm, I had a story, but realized that it really didn't fit with the theme. I'll save it for another time.

The article was quite inspiring, although it made me feel a bit ridiculous for ever whining about the hard time people in the midwest have getting interested in gaming.
Nothing more common than a bored Iowan staring at a screen for hours on end.

This was actually my favorite article out the entire issue. As a sucker for learning about other cultures around the world, the personal stories shared by other people who live in "unknown/obscure/not well known" countries were definitely fascinating to read. They shed light upon how big the eSports/Starcraft scene really is, and how it is growing and getting bigger across the world everyday. I want to thank those who shared their accounts with everyone, and hope that we'll get more eye-opening articles like those in the future again. Much kudos to you!

This section was hard to put down. I particularly enjoyed the Pakistan one.

I loved the article. Its funny sitting here living the life getting to watch whenever I want and play whomever listening to the thousands of trolls and whiners bitching about it lagging once every minute or whatever when there are thousands of fans across the world that wont get the chances we do.
Kudos to all you making starcraft big in places all over. Soon the whole will be taken over ^ ^
