And I login in, not having watched the games yet, and I check my liquibet, don't want to be DQ'd from a bet cuz I ddin't check it in time, and I remember that the one below the last proleague ones will be the OSL results, so I remember to NOT look further down
So then I want to go to the LR thread to look for VOD's.... and I get spoiled
See if the games had been at a normalish time (as in not 9AM, preferably 5AM or so) I could have watched them live. But as it is, I've gotta lave my house at 10:20 to go to breakdance class, so I couldn't watch any of them live.
AH INCURIT, how you need re-watching before this series, this damm spoiled series.
At least I'm happy about the result
EDIT: Got spoiled on my trek down the screen while still in Liquibet, my covering hand wasn't fast enough

I asked the same question in the LR thread... But how did the OP spoil you?

Yea, use the small vod thread. It is the (usually) the first place (and definitely spoiler free) to find Vods.
Or just squint really really hard. I sometimes do that too haha

I'm a little baffled at how you thought you could scan through an LR thread without getting spoiled. It's like watching porn and trying to cover your eyes so you don't see any naughty bits.
Also, this is the first time I've seen someone say 5am is a more reasonable time to do something than 9am, but it makes sense in your case I suppose O_o Although you could have just skipped one class...it is the OSL finals after all :p

But VODs are rarely posted in the LR threads, it's virtually impossible to not get spolied if you go through that. As everyone above said, Small VOD Thread is the first place they appear. You'd be better off checking YouTube channels than the LR thread.
Also 9AM is a way better time that 5AM (especially when it's a Saturday). I would never see any games live if they were on at 5AM. Proleague games that are on at 13:00KST is 4AM over here, that's a ridiculous time to be watching a series!!

Watching games at 5am sucks (not that I ever did that), but I had to go to uni today so I only watched 1st game...
And it was beautiful! (even though person I cheered for lost ^^)

I would kill to have games on at 9AM than 5AM. Everyone in EST timezone gets screwed by the Korean hours. Northeast US got doubly screwed this weekend with the snow storms. I was out of power for 3 days and missed both finals.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't mind spoilers. I actually prefer knowing the results before I go into a series and usually check beforehand.

Not me! I have class till 8pm on Friday night, so by the time I get home I'm exhasuted, make a sandwich for dinner and fall asleep around 9~10pm and end up waking up at 4. :D worked out perfectly for me.

AHH just the irony that in this case, I'd have rather that the OSL finals were at 5AM my time (which is when WL Proleague etc. streams) instead of 9AM (much better time, except when you've got to be away from 10:20-13:20 )
Oh well, still enjoying the games

And then people just post topics in forums that are blatant spoilers... I remember after Jinro/MKP some derping derper posted a "Let's start a MarineKingPrime fan club!" I was so angry.
Really?! That should get renamed-removed immediately.

bookmark small vod thread = gg. so when i came home to watch the osl finals, i went straight to the small vod thread. The games were uploaded like 5 minutes after the final was over. I didn't got spoiled. I like europe.

i just go to the moktira youtube channel directly...
why would you browse LR thread before knowing the results...? i don't even recommend browsing TL just because you can infer so much from the titles

Love how 9am is an unnormal time whereas 5am would be better > making it more "normal". Crazy euros indeed

As a 21 year old I'm always wondering why people don't like it when they are spoiled. I understand that you don't like it when you are 6. I understand that a 15 year old girl doesn't want to hear "dumbledore is dead" before she read the Harry Potter book. But what does it matter when you are a grown up? Okay you know who will win, but will it make a boring match?

Suspense:
Suspense is a feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about the outcome of certain actions, most often referring to an audience's perceptions in a dramatic work. Suspense is not exclusive to fiction, though. Suspense may operate in any situation where there is a lead up to a big event or dramatic moment, with tension being a primary emotion felt as part of the situation. In the kind of suspense described by film director Alfred Hitchcock, an audience experiences suspense when they expect something bad to happen and have (or believe they have) a superior perspective on events in the drama's hierarchy of knowledge, yet they are powerless to intervene to prevent it from happening. In broader definitions of suspense, this emotion arises when someone is aware of his lack of knowledge about the development of a meaningful event; thus, suspense is a combination of anticipation and uncertainty dealing with the obscurity of the future.

Un-spoiled games are so much more exciting! My common practice is to not open TL (which is hard xD), and go straight to Moktira's channel to watch the games. Almost certainly when TL is viewed there will some sort of spoiler somewhere that will tip you off to what happened.

damn. i tried looking for vods in the winner's interview thread without getting spoiled. everytime the winner's name came up i had to twist my laptop around so it was facing the other way then pull my duvet over my head. bloody didnt work either
