I'm going to try and start streaming on my livestream soon at www.livestream.com/kefkasc2 So come check out my SC2 Stream.
Also I'll be offering lessons, my knowledge is quite good and I have done some decent feats such as beating ThisisJimmy recently in a tournament where he was a returning champion, or facing Machine in ro16 of ESL and having a 30minute macro game where I ended up losing due to lack of transitional practice and such(He outmicro'd me, I outmacro'd). Anyways, I really need money to go to Korea to apply for the GSL ( plane tickets, sadly are quite expensive )
So I'm offering lessons at 10$ an hour(to raise money for the trip) I think/hope that's the cheapest around. I have extensive knowledge of all protoss matchups and a strong grasp of all zerg matchups, my terran knowledge is a little low, but I can help anybody below 2000 diamond for sure.
PM if interested in lessons, feel free to ask any questions/etc and I will answer to the best of my ability.

I spoke to an Admin, It's dealt with, sorry for the misunderstanding.

since when does being 2300+ entitle you to a stream let alone give lessons? lol

Chill's closing post in the last thread:
Suggested to kefka that he make a new thread. Let's try to be friendly this time (I'm guilty of being a dick too). I'm assuming Flaunt's claim has no merit as he hasn't posted any evidence. Apparently, it's all good with them. Good luck, Kefka!

He's not a scholar anymore though

He is posting about his stream, so maybe its legit

There isn't a rank requirement to having a stream (though, i like the sound of that idea tbh). However, charging money for lessons is a completely different thing.

well, I figured I see professionals- semi professionals charge about 15-25$

minimum wage is 10$ where i live as well.

Even if I was a Bronze player I don't think I would get a lesson from you. Not because your a bad person or anything, it's just that your "achievements" aren't really achievements. I hope this works out for you though, it's always nice to see foreigners going to GSL.

I'm 323 Diamond and have a stream. I've seen gold players with streams. Are you even familiar with TL.net?

You probably should've held off on making this thread until after your stream had been running for a bit and you had an audience. Right now, there's no reason for anyone to take you up on your offer because they can't gauge how good you are/what type of player you are. If I were you, I'd stream for a little bit and then maybe revisit this issue in a few days/weeks.

Why? Whoever willing to pay 10$ an hour for lessons would presumably be smart enough to watch some of his stream to see if he's clearly a better player. Why can't a better player offer a less experienced or just less talented player lessons? That's silly to say you have a certain pro-level ranking in order to be justified in giving lessons or streaming. If a bronzer that just started RTS gaming wants to pay someone 10$ that's more experienced to get more up to speed--fine.
I took tennis, swimming, and piano lessons when I was a kid; they weren't from Andre Agassi, Michael Phelps, or Yanni.

yes, I was planning on starting to stream in a day or two, my computer is terrible ( 5 years old ) so I have refrained from that for quite awhile. I know it's a bit odd, but I figured there's always an exception sometimes.

I have several replays up on Topreplays with me vs Thisisjimmy, BigT, Rigid, and Ngry and several other high level players. I upload regularly, My computer just can't handle starcraft, let alone another program in the background.

Realistically, I don't see why people care about someone charging money for lessons. It happens in every other sport. There is no requirement to teaching or streaming if you are not forcing someone to be taught by you. If the person is good, then people will take lessons and watch the stream. If not, then it will just die off. At least it is much better than the GosuGamers cost per hour. Hell, I am in the Adopt a Noob program as a mentor and have only barely hit 1800/1900 on ladder. Why am I qualified to teach? Compared to the "noobs" (ie bronze, silver, gold, etc) I am significantly better so have knowledge to share, time in which to share it, and the ability to teach (gained from being a coach in sports)
