I feel like telling a story rather than doing work, so here we go
So last thursday (veterans day USA) my father had the day off from work so we went golfing with one of his friends from work. We got to the fourth hole and both Joe (the friend) and myself had hit onto the green, while my dad was about 35 yards away. I was standing off to the side watching him line up for the shot and joe was around the back of the green dragging his cart.
After a few practive swings my dad moves over and hits the ball, but somehow does not manage to get under the ball and he shanks it off at a low hard angle.
I have almost no time to react as the ball goes strait for my shin. I manage to turn a bit but the ball still bounces off the front/side of my shin and bounces onto the green a dozen feet from the pin.
I am left hobbling around in pain and my dad is ecstatic from his lucky shot

I laugh it off and we continue playing. We get to the 9th hole which is just a short 180 yard shot. The green is surrounded by bunkers at the front and drops off hard at the back into a pond.

Both my dad and I hit our shots right of the bunker on the right near the pond while Joe miss clicks and sends the ball about halfway up and so far to the left he is on the previous fairway.

Dad and I go to look for my ball (we could see his) while Joe meanders on over to his ball on the other fairway. As I reach the area where I think my ball is I suddenly feel a burst of pain from the back of my head and my vision narrows down to darkness. The next thing I know is that I am curled up on the ground with my glasses mashed up in my face and my hands held protectively on the back of my head. Joe comes running up and my dad starts poking my head to see if I am bleeding.

Why the fuck would you poke someone where they had just been injured. People please consider how much that may hurt and gently inspect a wound.
So I come to realize that I had been hit in the back of the head by Joe's ball. He had hit another terrible shot and didn't yell fore in time so I was unable to react. Hit by two golf balls in one day makes me
It was such nice day for the last day of the season, only to be ruined by crazy players. You can imagine how much fun it is to try to sleep with a huge lump on the back right side of my head and another on my left leg. I have now learned to sleep like this:
