Just wondering if there is someone who can take me under their wing or even explain how it works. I'm pretty sure most of your time is spent in station looking for good contracts that are cheaper than normal and then either running them your self or recontacting the contract at a higher price. Either that, or buying low at one station, flying like 20 jumps, and then selling higher at another station. I'm sort of thinking of getting back into EvE (i subbed for about a week, and then just stopped playing simply because missions were really boring to me...) If I resubbed, would there be someone who can help me getting into the trading business, or would I have to figure that out on my own?

We got JP (in the corp) who is a very good trader and knows most of the ins and out of the businness, he would probably be the one you would want to talk to about that matter. (There is also motmob who even though he stopped playing, usually hangs around the topic, I dont know the guy personnaly, but with everything I have heard from him youd definately want to try to get a hold of him.) With that said, you would be highly welcomed in the corp since we are actually trying to find someone to do a lot of trading, (basically to handle our assets/get mods in bulks, etc.) Teh_traderer is working on it but he cant handle everything alone so this would probably be a good opportunity for you to make money doing trading, Kwark would be your best contact if you want to know more about that.

If I can be an asset to the corp and do what I think is fun, that would be awesome . Start off by taking a 14-day trial and hopping in game but yeah thats pretty much it

1) Make 21 day trial account (my real one) 2) Make 14 day trial account (the one i learn things on) 3) 5.5days later, when done learnings on 21 day trial start another char on 21 day trial account 4) Use skill books on the 2nd char after the 21 day trial account is finished with them 5) Do this again with 3rd char 6) Do this again with 4th char 5) Continue to rotate skills on all 4 chars (main + 3 other Chars learning to be Hulk Pilots) 6) Sell Hulk Pilot chars for 2billion ISK (145 days after creation) 7) Make 6 billion ISK from selling 3 Hulk pilots I mean keeping up with 5 skill trees is a lot i guess... but as long as you rotate the books around you only have to take like 10 mins of your day logging into the 4 chars to be able to do the books, and basically you will be on main and be like "oh got to do my skills" and then at that time just do the 3 other chars as well... This is sort of a long term investment (ya 5 months long, long term but still...) If you plan on sticking with the game, why not make money how ever you can? And Hulk pilots are worth A LOT. Just Wondering...

Aye, $15 for 2 billion ISK is a really nice rate... if I wanted to pay for ISK hmmmm

Aye, well will actually take 138 days to train up to what you need... 87 days = 3 months... so about 1bil (you can find PLEX for 320mil is lowest i've seen advertised) so 1 bil for $15.. still not bad (considering buying and selling Plex is $20 = 350mil...) not really worth it for me to do now, but something to look into eventually i guess Edit: Kind of rounded numbers, the 138 day training schedule = a 2.5 bil ISK Hulk Pilot. Can be cut down to 2 months of buying PLEX by cutting some skills, but the skills you cut are = to about 500k ISK so buying that extra PLEX nets you an extra 150k ISK... So its more like $15 for 1.5bil ISK, nice return.

The only problem here is you need to take into account the price of skillbooks, I dont know if theres a lot of expensive books for a hulk pilot but dont forget to count that out.
