k I'm running into a problem while trying to create a good skill plan for a trading char. The problem is that skills that have to do with flying a ship conflict heavily with skills needed to trade at a high level.

While I guess it isn't really the skills that are a problem, it is more the attributes. Int + Perception for learning + ships, and charisma + willpower for trading skills.

Now in a perfect world, you would train your learnings and then your ship skills, then remap and go trading skills.

The biggest problem is that the real best way I would think to train skills is to train your learnings + basic ship skills then trading skills to a decent level, and then go ships and trading skills together.

What this means is that I going:

Remap into Perception + Int

Do Learnings + basic ship skills

Remap to Charisma + Willpower

Do trading skills

At this point, I do not have a remap to use to remap into a more of an equal Int + Charisma + memory (well more of a 10/1/10/1/10)

I DUNNO MAYBE CHECK THE OP

realistically you need like minny indy 4, retail 3 ish, and contracting 3 ish to do some pretty high level trading. That's like 3 days. If you only get indy 2, it's probably like 16 hours.

Long way: Get EVEMON, put all the skills for approximately 400 days. Let it calculate the best attribute remaps.
Short way: Remap to Mem Int, learn learnings. Remap to Perc Charisma (primaries are way more important than secondaries.)

? That doesn't answer my question at all... I was wondering

Say I make a plan for the next 365 days. In what order should I do my remaps + skills in order to minimize training time.

I have a plan set out currently for the next 70 days being:

Learnings (about 6 days)
Getting me into an Indy Ship (about 1 day)
Trading skills (about 30 days)
More ship skills (about 30 days)

This is before modules. (with T2 moddules its closer to 4 days -> 16 hours -> 16 days -> 16 days)

After this, there is about a 250 day mix of trading and ship skills.

Now, To maximize my first say... 66 days I should go:

15/15/1/1/1 -> learnings + get into Indy ship skills

Remap

12/1/6/1/12 -> Do trading skills + more ship skills

now I would need to remap... to 10/1/10/1/10 to maximize the next 250 days. Saddly I have used 2 remaps so do not have another available to me...

Now I want to know if there is a more efficient way + more efficient attributes that I could remap into to minimize trading time.

I just assumed there would be more traders that would have insight into this.

I already have the skills laid out for basically Learnings -> Get into Indy ship/destroyer/frig (so I can switch depending on my trade route depending on speed/cargo needed...) -> Learn trading skills to be able to do long range trading / contracts -> learning skills to get T2 fittings

Then here Its more -> Mix of maxing Trade skills + getting into a hurricane + T2 fit it.

Simply because in 1 year I can get into a T2 hurricane + have maxed trading skills...

Now currently I've been running it at 15/15/1/1/1 -> 10/1/10/1/10 because I run out of remaps, just wondering if there is something more efficient.

Thx for the answer, how do you have Evemon calc my remaps? Just wondering? I already have an EVE Mon profile set out (Used to play Eve, made a 2nd account on my account that is a nothing account so I can use EVE Mon to make A LOT of different specs with the same account)

You are forgetting support skills which are int/mem. If you plan to pvp on the character, you will need to spend about ~50 days to grab the minimal amount of support skills, since you won't be specializing into it.

I personally don't think you don't need to spend 30 days to grab trade skills to be successful. The game takes a 3% cut when you sell stuff on the market/contract and with perfect skills you can reduce this to ~1%, but level III/IV skills should probably suffice unless you truly plan to move billions of isk in volume every few days. Than that extra 0.5% might matter. Same with the visibility and remote placing of your orders. A range of 10 jumps should be more than enough, 20 jumps will cover everything.

I would suggest learning skills and get them all to IV except charisma to III, than use your 100% boosted sp to get the indy you want and trade skills out of the way.

Its not worth the remap to solely train trade skills IMO, charisma sucks.

All learning skills to IV = 14 days
Indy/cargo rigs/expanded cargo hold II -->1 day
Pretty much all the decent trade skills to III/IV = 12.5 days
Remap into whatever
Do stuff
Remap into whatever
Do stuff longer

I believe because of the linear way in which attributes pay off in sp/hr it is almost never right to use them in an even fashion. One attribute will always be used more and should be maxed.

Alright have my eve mon saying this is pretty much the best I can do...

Learning: ~9d - ~10d (depends on if I can get +1 or +2 implants or not )

Remap to: 5/5/10/14/5

Learn to fly Indi ship + fit it + trading skills ~18d - ~20d (depending on +1s or +2s)

Remap to: 10/14/5/5/5

Learn to fly a T2 Nanocane ~90d - ~109d (depnding on +1s, +2s, or +3s)

~120s - ~140d to learn to trade, fly indi ship, and fly a Nanocane for PvP. Hopefully my plan works out...

Remap to???

My only real question is can i do this:

- Use free Remap

- Use free Remap

- Use 5mil ISK Remap

All in a single 365 day period?

Then Will probably turn into a lot of back filling skills to get lvl 5's in a LOT of skills...

There's a 5 mil remap? I'm pretty sure its better to go 15/9. Is Evemon really telling you to go 10/14?
