I really hope SC2 tournaments will get many more maps.I'm tired of Xelnaga/metalopolis/steppes/Scrap station over and over again. So many great maps already around, ICC ones, some like this one. | ||

@Begtse: This map is fairly well sized for a good macro game, I'm sure you'll have fun playing on it and that the size won't be a problem. @LoLIsh: Forgot to add you, but I will the next time I'm on and maybe we can play on this map a bit. I haven't been on in a long time because of balance issues, bad ladder maps, and because Halo: Reach came out lol. I'm not that good at this game, and haven't played since the new patch, so I'll need to relearn macro and micro from my lack of playing SCII. | ||

As i mentioned before on your chromatic isle forum, i had lots of fun playing on all your maps with some hardcore 1v1 with my partners. Got to says this is definitely your best yet and the most developed too. I was pleasantly surprised that my suspicions where wrong and that my units indeed didn’t go through the gold expo on there my to the main but around the wonderful high ground mountains in the middle. Great placement with the xel towers as always. The layout of the main and natural are perfect especially with the small choke out of the natural. Perfect map size The only thing i had to gripe (lol) was the rocked ramp of course. I found it effectively useless if that’s possible. Although it doesn't look like it, it is indeed far to close to the already existing major ramp to the main. Any blockade at the main ramp it also basically already blocking the rocked ramp (who would want to waste going through two barricades?). I personally would think that its better to have it mirrored onto the other leg of the main to act as a back door - that way its still easy to defend with your units as you can almost get a fully surround from the main highground over any incoming units towards the new rocked ramp and then you only need to be attentive and watch over it. Its not far for defending units anyways to travel to the opposite leg that the rocked ramp is currently on. Just note that the ramp for the top left 3rd exp doesn't look mirrior the same as the bottem 3rd exp. The top one is closer to the mountains - should be moved right towards the main a square up and over. Thanks again, Push | ||
