I hate that I'm arriving at 11:30 PM tonight - Gonna be a lonely cab ride to the venue!
|
Hey guys.... quick question (help asap if anyone sees this) - what's the closest metro stop to the Gaylord (is it correct that its in MD?)
|
There really aren't any within walking distance. I think the closest is across the river in VA.
|
But I mean, what's the closest - I have someone who'd pick me up , but right now the house I'm at is 20 miles from the venue, so I want to be manner and get as close as possible. Anywhere within 2 miles is close enough walking distance for me..
but ya, is there anything that's within 5 miles (any metro stop that is?)
|
I've got all my batteries and memory cards good to go for lots of interviews, footage, and photos from throughout the tournament. =D
I'll probably try to get to the venue at around 1 p.m. Friday.

Eisenhower Ave is the closest, on the yellow line. it's probably 5-6 miles from venue, off the top of my head. (and yeah it's in VA)

I think King Street over in Alexandria (Blue/yellow line) is closest.
Juts checked, that and Eisenhower (Yellow) are about the same distance.

King Street stop is less than 4 miles away I believe.

geez just got at the gaylord, 45 minutes from the airport, thought I was landing at reagan's airport, I was a Dulles T_T
|
Eisenhower and King st. are about the same distance yeah.

even worse, when I got to the airport this morning I realized I had made a dumb mistake and booked my flight for october 13th.... they changed my reservation with extra fees of $643,45 easily the most expensive flight I've ever been in and it's only 2 hours lol

I'm going to cry if there is a Jimmy johns right in front of the venue.
Not that nearby but there's a bugaboo steakhouse 20 mins away from the venue. Cheapest and best prime rib you'll ever have D:.

Cheapest and best? This is an intriguing combination that may require exploration...
