Currently floating around 2000-2200, playing everyone (8 Koreans out of last 25 games, all losses ;p, but I've beaten couple this season :D). What's the best way to get better fast? I'm trying to play as many strong opponents as possible. 4 C- opponents in the last 13 games (one of them is a whooping 55-9 C+ right now O_o), and several "D+" player with best ranks of anywhere from C- to B+ (I actually managed to survive over 20 minutes vs. a Korean who was 75-30 B rank last season, I'm really proud of myself ;p). Lately I'm trying to follow the advice from "How to improve" and couple Liquipedia articles (analyzing games, learning one solid BO per MU, etc.). I'm having a hard time staying focused for longer than 2-4 games against challenging opponents and keeping my motivation for the remainder of the day after I get bashed once or twice. Though I'm seeing myself improve. Any tips for a D+ player? BTW, it isn't just me, right? This season seems much harder than the last one. Last season I managed to go 12-5 D+ after a LONG (probably over a year with couple of games with friends every couple of months) with ease. Now I'm in the best shape I've ever been, and I'm struggling to maintain a 40% winning record. ;o

Besides all those things that Liquipedia offers you, find yourself few reliable and friendly people who are roughly on the same rank as you (maybe even a higher rank than you). Then, you just mass game with them! Ob, play, whatch replays, whatever, just hang around in games together, analyzing mistakes of others while obing, try not to do them yourself while playing etc. But seriously, it's so much easier to get better when you're practicing with someone you're comfortable with, rather than someone unknown where you have that "intimidating" factor that influences your play in a way it shouldn't. And not to mention it's infinitely more fun to practice this way as opposed to mindlessly grind through the ladder like it's your job. Always keep in mind, that this is a game and you're supposed to have fun while playing it. Cheers!

Dying to vastly superior mechanics.

I only got to 2500 points though. Once = Regularly? I sense a disconnection between your post and his. Maybe you should try again in non-korean hours.
