To my surprise there were a dozen or so more nerds in line now. All noobs according to my conversations and eaves droppings. No one noticed my TL shirt. The GS employees started handing out raffle tickets, posters, and other little friend invites or whatever every 15 minutes or so. So the earlier people got more stuff, score.
About 11:30pm they finally start to raffle the stuff. There were 2 T-Shirts (XL and 2XL lol), a giant Jim Raynor sticker, a copy of the game, and something else I can't recall. I had 5 tickets which was pretty good odds considering there were about 50 people and not all of them had more than 2-3 tickets cause they were late.
First number called, "Four...Eight...Eight". Fuck yea! Free Shirt with today's date of release and that says 'Nuclear Launch Detected' on the back. But really in my mind I was like' "damn, That just ruined some of my odds on the free copy". And to make it worse, the asian kid next to me in line had to point this out to me as well :/ .
Second number "Four...Zero...Something" Guy at the front. Phew, don't want the 2xL shirt lol.
Third number "Four...One...Eight", Yes! fuck the sticker. I need more outs.
Now they slow rolled us, And made us wait 5 more minutes.
Fourth number, "Five...Zerogle...Orgle". He walked behind the pillar. What did he say? "Hey, did he say 508?", Girl: "Omg R U SRS?!". "HAHAHAH, OMFG FIVE ZERO EIGHT!". Uproar from crowd, loud facepalms, LoLs and OMGs. I won another copy to go along with my already paid for collector's edition.
(109.74 with CA tax)
When I picked up my copy a few minutes later, I asked if I could credit back the 60$ I already paid and he said sure. But just come back and do it tomorrow cause it's busy, score!
Installing the game right now, taking forever. Just now at 50%
i'd say this was worth it
