So some people did have troubles yesterday and thanks to ToN, I feel like I should help out the ones who can't get it to work properly, or want to set up their own music channel in the future. A lot of the people who heard it said that the sound quality was pretty clean.
Before I start this mini-guide, I expect that you people have Ventrilo and Winamp (which is the Media Player I'm using).
1) Download Virtual Audio Cable here
2) Install VAC. The process should not take that long too install. Once you are done, then you don't do anything else to VAC. Don't open it, just don't do anything. You are about halfway done.
3) Open up WinAmp, go to the Preferences. On the left side under "Plug-ins", click on Output (or press CTRL+p). Then your default output should be selected (In my case it is: NullSoft DirectSound Output). Press "Configure" on the bottom
4) You should see on the top "1. Primary Sound Driver" on the scroll down menu. Change that to: "Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable)" Once you are done with that, close WinAmp
5) Now open up Ventrilo, and make a name for the vent username that will play the music. Mine is DJ Clazziquai. Configure that name by going to setup and set the following:
Silence Time 0.5 seconds, Sensitivity 0 Output Device - Leave it alone Input - Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable)
6) FINALLY, right click on the Ventrilo.exe and where it says Target, make sure it says: "C:\Program Files\Ventrilo\Ventrilo.exe" -m
7) You are done. Open up another copy of vent (the one you are going to talk on) and then start DJ'ing! You need a second vent account so you can hear the music too.
8) If you want, go to the DJ vent username and right click on it, and click Integration -> Winamp to display what song is currently being played. It will be displayed on its comment.
Enjoy, I hope someone found this useful. Special thanks goes to ToN and TheMango for helping me out.

Nice you're trying to help out clazz, but I have a much easier way.
1. Open Ventrilo.
2. Click Setup.
3. Put 'Input device' as Stereo mix.
4. Play music.
5. Profit.
+ Show Spoiler +Stereo mix is hidden for many people as a driver. You can simple display is as one in the control panel under sound

yeah this is a good guide tho ^.^ for example my computer wont play Stereo Mix but yeah your way would be easier ^.^

It's easier, but not the same. Your way, everything your sound card plays, people can hear. So you cant do anything with your PC except stream music (cant watch video, or play games, etc)
Clazziquai's way creates a separate output/input via VAC which connects winamp to ventrilo.

if this is greyed out like it was for me, uncheck push to talk and you should be good to go.
