Hey guys, just had a funny moment in my English class I thought fellow TL folk would enjoy.
I jokingly took a kid's cellphone away, and I was like "This is mine now." And they didn't seem to understand so I held it up and was like, "mine mine mine."
So one of the kids says, "Mine? Spider mine?"
And I replied, "No ways, I'm not a vulture!"
They all started laughing at this, it always cracks them up when I know something Starcraft related and they got really excited. So then this one kid remarks, pointing at me, "siege tank siege tank". I'm quite a big guy, so they all started laughing.
So I turned to him and was like "Pfft, YOU'RE AN SCV!" Everyone just collapsed laughing and pointing at him, this was the Korean high school equivalent of a serious burn.
Spent the next 5 minutes insulting them all with units like "medic" and "zergling".
Don't you wish Starcraft unit insults would work in all high schools?

Haha they always are super shocked. They laugh like crazy and get really excited, lol. It's loads of fun. I love dropping SC bombs :D

Haha, think its just funny 'cause it's an SC reference. And I mean, if the teacher insults you based on some kind of pop culture thing, its always gonna be funny, even if it was a bit lame 
Kids are 2nd grade high school... so about 16, 17?

Wow this is awesome. I've already had some people laughing when I receive a text message on my mobile because the ring tone is BC's voice "Receiving transmission !", but your story is really funny, thanks for sharing it !

Hhaha, you guys make me lol.
I genuinely thought about using like HD or Husky's commentaries over a game to teach them English, lol. Maybe I'll give them a "fun class" sometime and do that :D
Lol endy that ring tone is awesome, my kids would go nuts if they heard that.
