At least if I was working on it, he could suggest what's wrong not just delete it... it really demotivates users to contribute Hey Plexa fixed it, I hardly think Thundergod did it on purpose, what can happen is if you both have the edit window open at the same time that there is an edit conflict. The wiki should save both changes but sometimes it bugs out and one edit (in this case yours) doesn't get saved. Don't let this demotivate you as a mod can pretty much always save the damage

Currently I'm holding much of strings about Croatian SC2 community and I think I can be helpful with that. I will for sure do my best.

Game of the Week Have some categories to identify it, maybe with some small icons to let people know right away why they should watch the game. Also have a suggestions page. Some examples for categories: ~ 'Pimpest play' type play ~ High level/back and forth play (like a traditional recommended game) ~ Amazing comeback/s ~ Unorthodox/creative strategies ~ Very good players who are not well known ~ Micro/Macro masterclass Also some pages that might be nice to add: - Events (e.g. Blizzcon, competitions, etc. - mainly community stuff) - Game Updates, based on month (not necessarily on patch number) - might make archiving of updates a bit easier when they are frequent.

This should be a temporary problem, due to the oversized jubilee icons that overlap the link. Click on the logo for a workaround, we'll be changing it back eventually.

Also I really like how the player tables fill in automatically based on TLPD, and think more stuff could be automated like that. (like player numbers per team etc) Also is liquipedia averse to the wikipedia style of citing everything?

We cite what we can. But for many things that are basic starcraft / starcraft II knowledge, there is no citable source. So, especially for players and team pages, try to cite as much as possible, but we are not in a position where we can only admit what has a citable source.

Another thing: http://fox.wemade.net/foxes/foxes_player.asp?m=3d07db003cf2cb40 (for example) leads to lots of pictures of FOX players. Are they illegal to put up due to copyright?

For example, at liquipedia it says a marine takes 24 seconds to build. If your using the fastest speed, it takes 15 seconds to build.

For example, at liquipedia it says a marine takes 24 seconds to build. If your using the fastest speed, it takes 15 seconds to build. It's an annoying issue. It would be more realistic to give the real second timings, however, if any time is displayed within the game itself, it always gives you the longer duration. So we think that giving the numbers listed in game is more appropriate than giving the real duration and we hope for everyone to figure it out.

What about doing it only for the brood war liquipedia?

Blizzard's official statistics give numbers in game time seconds, not in real seconds, and that's what we use as the credible source. Using real time would result in a greater need of explanation than using game seconds does right now. You might want to write a page about game speed in general, where we can point to and that will explain the difference in counting.

You mean like the one I made all the way back in march? http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Game Speed. From what I've seen, everytime the timings are an issue, that page is linked to.

It just feels so subjective and stupid to begin any sentence with "in the current metagame..." at this point for sc2

I've already encountered the annoying mixture of "defence" and "defense" on the same page thanks to templates. This is un-necessary. The website is international and there is no reason to make one standard. We have many users who write and spell in English and others who use American-English. I don't want to have to purposely re-write an article so that it's entirely in american english. It's not like the difference is so huge that you can't figure out what is meant.
