Working on it. Info soon!

Can't wait for sc2 liquidpedia now that's something everyone is equally incompetent so can contribute without feeling like they are wrong.

Well it doesn't take deeper understanding of the game to list unit build times and shiz build order i suspect will still be very much in the air a month from now.

I thought I'd give editing the liquipedia a try. On this page - there is some leftover text that I thought I'd clean up. Mainly some dead links found here:

* (+1) SpeedZeal (vs Zerg)
+
* +1 Zealot Timing Rush
* +1 Zealot/Archon push

But when I press the edit button it only says:
List of all Protoss vs Zerg Builds
[[Category: Protoss_Builds]]
[[Category:Strategies]]

I tried looking for the original page but couldn't find it. How can I edit that page?

It's because there is no original page. What appears on that page is determined by what pages are in the category. If you want to remove those pages, you'll need to remove the page itself from the Protoss_Builds category.

I think the strategy pages should be reformatted so that in the strategy overview page, the openings are listed in one column, and the strategies which you can transition to are listed in the openings articles OR in a different column on the overview.

As an example, right now in PvT strategy overview, there is a link to one gate core, but there is also a link to DT drop in the same column. Now, this might mislead someone to think "hmm, should I choose DT drop or should I choose one gate core?" If you have the DT drop transition put into the one gate core article, this could be avoided, and would in general increase organization.

Oh ok, I see what you're saying. Yeah, organization has been a bit lacking in the strategy section because we haven't had too much help there. Do you mean for the build pages or just in general? We're already trying to reorganize the Strategy section, but with the release of SC2, everything has slowed down by that much more.

I just hit a personal milestone goal of mine and added about 25 different minor additions that I thought would improve the wiki by about a lot. (Anonymous and on account). Several weeks ago I added around 50 minor additions and the vast majority got accepted besides one or two that were worded poorly. Please do whatever is needed to reword the one or two that may be needed to be reworded this time because I spent a lot of time on them.

Cheers to a better wiki since I've added around 75 minor edits over the last couple months.

I feel that adding hotkeys for upgrades etc on Liquipedia would be another nice and handy feature.

Is there a preference for VOD linking if its not available through the TL VODs section? I've been linking to Youtube if that's the case.

Also, is the hard link to the TL VOD preferred over the VOD symbol thing or vice-versa? Personally, I like [Player 1 vs. Player 2, Competition, Date, VOD Symbol link]. If the TL VOD is not available I link the Competition Name/Game to the Youtube clip.

One day when I was just raoming around the pedia of liquids, I noticed that the navigation bar was all the way below the center part of the page. So there is a big gap on the left side and it looks quite awful. Is it just me? Will it be fixed?

I only happens in Chrome and might be a skin issue. If you can bear it, switch to the wiki2 skin (the logo looks ugly then), but at least it fixes it momentarily.

We prefer linking to the TL VOD section, then to Youtube. I hope you noticed that we have templates for both of these:

TL-VOD:
{{Vodlink|id=(game id)}}

Youtube:
{{YT-link|file-id=(Youtube ID)}}

The Vodlink symbol is simply more elegant than writing out the link, since you only have to retrieve the game's id and you can actually put up the symbol before the game is uploaded when it already has an ID.

That's really unfortunate. I'll make sure to do that since I don't really care about skins.

i dont know if this is the right place to go but i was wondering if someone could add like a tab or little writing on each maps on how to play it correctly for each MU on liqui.

i noticed there are a lot of people including myself asking how to play maps like desti or python for tvp or tvz... and the easy topics that could be answered cloud up the forums a bit.

simple thing like desti-tvp terrans are advised to cut the map into two diagonally placing mines as such and etc...

wat wat in my pants

I think it would be a valuable addition, however, someone needs to do it . Diamondback2 did it a while ago for certain maps (there was a thread on these forums where he asked for data), so for some maps that were recent about 1/2 year ago, you might find data, for example here: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Python#Strong_Build_Orders

If you want to add further BOs in this style, feel free to.

Good idea, but with SC2 out, everyone is diverting their attention to it and fleshing out Liquipedia2, so it might be a while before we return to LP1.

true but sc2 is in beta and its gonna be about 6 months after beta before they release the game (6month is arbitrary number cause everyone knows how blizzard is with time and numbers)

well im still gonna try to do this for sc1

but yea maybe you guyz can implement this on liqui2 cause some maps HAVE to be played in a certain way for all races or your just gonna be liike "eer wtf am i suppose to do. where is the map control, which expo...."
