Haha. Not really that atypical since the inception of electronic music, but it's funny to see the music sheet. It's so busy it's actually kind of irritating, but still impressive since the guy did it all himself.
This is very possible to play. You're probably just impressed by the sheet music. If you were to double the note length denominations on the page, you'll find that it's very straight forward. It only looks difficult because the score looks like an absolute mess.
it only looks intimidating because the measures are all squeezed together like that, but certainly not impossible... you'd just have to go about practice starting at a very, very slow tempo and build up
This is amazing, I love touhou music. I actually want to learn to play the piano, do you guys have any good recommendations for an entry level keyboard?
Currently I want to go with the Korg SP170, it's quite pricey though.
Wow, I only expected another one of "Touhou music is awesome" thread but this is x1000 better. Never gave so much thought into the music's difficulty Too bad I am not so much good at playing piano, otherwise I would have definitely tried to play one... it's good thing to only carter to one's strength I suppose.
The thing with some of the sheet music that people post is that they aren't written very well. They're fan-transcribed and people sometimes have a tendency to squeeze a bunch of notes together where it should be spread out a lot more for ease to read.
Anyone who wants to start up on playing some of this cool music should take a look at Tyrio's link.
The person mainly posts piano pieces and usually has the music sheet in the description. I usually pick something up to play after bored of playing stuff given by my piano teacher.
