edit: Do you think that the Implementing Navigation would be something to really look into for the future? Like do you think that could be something that would really work as the robotics feild gets better. To me, it seems it would work pretty well in theory.

How did you guys come up with the idea to test those different navigation ideas? Like the color recognition, Implementing Navigation, etc... Are you going to try and keep going with it? or no because it was just for that class? edit: Do you think that the Implementing Navigation would be something to really look into for the future? The Scribblers are part of this curriculum at Bryn Mawr College whose program is adapted as a summer course here at TESC that I'm hoping to drop into a lot this summer since I'll be around campus doing some independent study stuff. The color recognition came from the idea of Green Screens since green doesn't show up in very many things (except all of the evergreen trees here lol) One of our professors turned us on to the Geometric Hashing and SIFT algorithm. The room mapping thing I came up with while I had a concussion and then went to Wikipedia and realized that people had already come up with that idea.
