It's a slogan for a new web start-up I'm working on (just planning and designing at the moment). Without giving too much away in one sentence, here is a rough description of what Riiot is..
"Riiot is an exlusive, invite-only, social network of opinionated peers that want to reclaim the news from the mass media through online journalism."
Which one do you like best (more memorable), or rather which rolls off the tongue better?

Oh, and.. the part that bugs me about the longer one is that, in the literal word usage, you you don't "ignite a crowd" since igniting has to do with flames, but you can incite a crowd (incite means to stir something up). Furthermore, the "you're here, you exist" is kind of redundant since they're both essentially saying the same thing.

the first sounds really generic, i like the second one better

I like the "Ignite a crowd. You're here, You exist. Riiot. " one. Sounds much better and more unique. The website premises looks interesting too. Good luck with it, wouldn't mind getting an invite to it from the sounds of it either ^_^

It's too long. 'Ignite a crowd' is better than either option.

how about you take the best of both worlds and go "Incite a crowd. Ignite a crowd. Riiot."

The 1st one is way too long. I think something simpler would be the best, perhaps just..

I like the first one but just You're here, You exist. Riiot. It is kinda long for a slogan though

I think the suggestions are looking good, choose out of those instead of the ones in the poll imo. They're pretty spot-on about how length can be detrimental.

Just for something to think about "just 15 minutes could save you time and money on your auto insurance" well, i dont know how many ppl remember that slogan over the typical opening of "i just saved 15% on my car insurance"

The story behind the geico ad is awesome-
The creative guys at the agency in charge of making those ads brought the gecko to their boss, who rejected it. They brought it again next time they saw him, so he told them if they could bring him three good alternatives, he'd present it to the client as an afterthought. They brought him the three, so he brought it to the meeting with Geico, and they loved it, and ran those ads.
Now that those are some of the most popular commercials on TV, the new ads with the older guy proposing slogans like "Geico: It's the bees' knees" are the boss making fun of himself for not seeing the potential in the earlier ads.

It seems to me that if you're trying to appeal to well-educated, opinionated journalists and peers, you should avoid 'ignite' if you feel the usage is somewhat improper. Also, I like luminaire's suggestion.
