Today was my mother's birthday. After I finished my exam around 1:30 pm today I drove to a local florist. I picked up a really nice flower arrangement in a nice vase for her office. As I was driving to her office this song came on:
So here I am driving to her office by the campus with my windows cracked when I realized I had cranked up the volume and had a big flower arrangement sitting in my passenger's seat. I can't imagine how fruity I must've looked. I also distinctly remember several portions in which I was singing along rather vehemently.
Granted, I have many guilty pleasures when it comes to music. I have over 10,000 songs on my iTunes, but since this story happened today I figured it'd be a decent one to throw out there.
So what are your guilty pleasures when it comes to music? The more of a dirty, little secret, the better.
I like "I Gotta Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. I had heard that song a lot and never really cared for it, but I actually heard it fully at a school dance and ever since then have taken a liking to it somehow. It's not even close to the type of music I generally listen to..
Also, Simple Plan. Of course I love most pop-punk in general but the band is pretty generic and bland.. yet I love most of the album "Still Not Getting Any." All of the songs on the album but two of them I've listened to quite a bit.

I mostly just enjoy it and music similar because I hear it at parties and such.

The song is musically awful. It intrigues me nonetheless. Think it's the fact that she looks like they dragged her straight from a dumpster, put some rouge on, and said "Yep, she's ready to go!"
I have a very severe Lady GaGa fetish. Not sexual in any way, more in admiration of the (very puzzlingly attractive) supremely feminine nature of her songs, the 'depth and content' (some... okay most people would disagree with me, hence the 's) of her lyricism, and the fact that she wrote them. This has progressed into me watching every god damn live performance loaded onto YouTube of her in absolute awe of her awesome theatrical performances
I can't help but question my manhood because of this :'(

Yeah for the most part I'm not really in to main stream music. I mean, musically, I have a lot more depth than that kind of stuff. I like a lot of indie stuff, oldies, and 90s rap. I play guitar and music is probably my biggest passion in life.
With all that being said, I can't really dance to any of it at a party, so the catchy mainstream stuff comes in to play.
