Got the DJ to put up some bboy beats and then got around to doing my set (usual toprock, footwork, freeze, headspin) and then other people followed and before I knew it, there was a giant crowd circling all the bboys

A girl I knew back when I was in HS drank a cup of chew spit because she thought it was her soda. Yum.

all you dudes with the thumbs up face obviously didn't have girlfriends in HS

Yeah... don't quite understand all the Prom was fun, the after parties were great.
|
My after party consisted of us getting drunk in some guys garage while wearing expensive clothes. Somebody dropped the ball on that one imo, but it wasn't me. I was drunk enough not to care though.
Edit: So lesson, make sure you know of/approve of the after party plans beforehand to avoid after party fail.

Is it weird if I were to ask a freshman girl?
Cause all the other bitches I could have asked got dates already ;;

Do what you gotta do, bro. Just make sure it's legal.

I am not exactly sure how freshman and all that translates for highschool because we don't use those terms in Canada...but doesn't that mean that girl is 5 years younger than you?
I think that'd be kinda weird bro :S

Seniors are "supposed" to be 18 at this point..freshman are 15..I'm still 17..and shes 15..if it was 5 years that would be straight up creepy..

I do, she just goes to college and couldn't come down for my prom sooo I didn't wanna go. Besides, we're not really school party-type people. Today was really fun though! Ate pho, watched Kick-Ass, and then ate this delicious thing:
Twas a good day. ^^

Prom is a iconic part of high school. Don't miss out on it or you'll regret it.

I don't know, I never cared much for iconic things, especially in high school. My high school experience is definitely not what would be called typical haha. I still enjoyed it though.

i agree. Prom was beyond a waste of fucking time here, i mean yeah you get to dance and chat to people and you can win nice things but you can do all that at the after party and you dont have to wear expensive clothes and you're allowed to publicly drink there.
Though to go to the after party you pretty much had to be at prom or it was like wtf so i guess it was good in that sense, but god damn that was some good after party.
For here it's always some kid who lives out of town with alot of land so we all go there and the parents organize taking your keys away and stuff then there's a big dance floor, lots of music and booze etc, so great. And EVERYONE goes so yeah awesome.

I've been to a few proms (called formals for us) and luckily nothing major embarrassing has happened. Only two semi-awkward things that you should remember to avoid.
#1 - While we were eating, my belt and pants were too tight so I casually undid my belt and unbuttoned my pants so I was more comfortable. You couldn't see anything because I was sitting down. Before I knew it me and my GF at the time got called up to get our 'couple' photo done. I had completely forgotten about what I had done before, got up and we got our photo taken. Soon after I remembered that my pants aren't done up... Long story short, you can see my unzipped fly and pants half falling off in that photo.
#2 - Keep your eyes off the other girls...uh....dress. + Show Spoiler +
