Because this is the third time I've been stomping my opponent but my computer shuts off. And when I touch my laptop, it is super hot.
I hear that compressed air cans are a good solution. Any other methods?

Some systems may reach high temperatures and overheating conditions while running StarCraft II. This is mainly due to the video card rendering the screens at full speed. As a workaround, there are two lines that you can add to your Documents\StarCraft II Beta\variables.txt file to limit this behavior. Frameratecapglue=30 Frameratecap=60 The frameratecapglue controls the framerate at the menu screens. The frameratecap controls the framerate on all other screens. You may adjust these numbers to your liking.

Otherwise, keep ventilation in mind in your next purchase. Many laptops still use the belly panel exhaust structure so it is something to be weary of. Mine features an exclusive side exhaust video card/CPU vent that toasts the left side of my desk but keeps the laptop and my palms nice and cool.

But to see a difference, you are right, you would have to set the cap lower than what it's currently doing.
