SCG - Starcraft Gambler. UMS/MOD Idea Within this mod you will be a retired unit of war, blowing of steam and having a blast while you achive your ultimate goal in life to become rich. The mod will involve Puzzle challangers such as "Find the lost parts for your ship of escape" "Arange terrain and escape the scary laborint of a Zerg infestation". Majhong kind of battles between players for an elimination race and glory. You won't be building anything and you wont be fighting as much as you should think. This mod is about gambling and chance, quick hands and a light head to solve problems as you go along. Mini games and money battles will be with Trivias, shoot the duck, LONG RANGE DART and more. The road to fame will be the last two players to achive a ultimate challange. The goal is to DIE or enter the Zerg heaven of gambling. Grand price is a date with kerringan as you move along her soft bussom. With the power of the new editor not just one map will be made for this mod. I plan myself to suggest this IDEA to people who can make maps. I myself want this idea to reach people. List of IDEAS for minigames and challanges for the players who play this mod will be. Long range dart, shoot the duck, bet on gagefights (zergling vs zergling), "run kitty run" type of gambling, "Can he survive?" Ultralisk vs marine mode where the Marine has HIDDEN disposal of terrain and aces up hes sleve (player controlled as the rest bets) etc. Black jack, roulette, poker, slot machines and storm the castle ( you have all the money in the world, you have 5 minutes to break down the castle and win while the other player is trying to stop you with the same amount of recourses. "Chop down a tree" Collect lumber as fast as you can, the only limit is your imagination and money (which you have collected during this series of games)(Shops with upgrades for your character and inventory to ease the stress and help you with all mini games and so on) and ofcrouse many many more ideas is flowing my head as i write this. To make this idea as short as possible for this forum I will just say that this is just a small fraction of what I've been thinking of since I saw the new editor. Booming Empowering Tournament Accelerated of the Koprulu Extradimensional Yardsale or BETAKEY for short BETAKEY is a racing ums with the starcraft 1/2 vehicles, which all have fun abilities to use, where you race against other players and harrass them as much as you can to win. Unlike the BW race ums maps, this will be seen from a 3rd person perspective behind your racer, controlled with wasd, and if I'm not wrong you can make your own interface with the editor so the screen is going to have stuff like your position, map, windows where you can control your racer's special abilities, speedometer, etc. As i said, the vehicles will have abilities, some simple idea's that have popped up in my mind: Vulture: Spider mines that would flip a vehicle around or damage the wheels for a small amount of time. Stalker: Blink which you could target an enemy racer with and blink on top of it, pushing it down to the ground while the stalker gets ahead. Or maybe it could be used to dodge traps and projectiles. Overlord: Rwguharwarghuar!! The Overlord will be able to spawn creep behind itself, this creep will be all slippery and gooey. Infestor: They have that spewing ability right? That could be used to actually clutter another player's camera, making way for tactical decisions like spewing right when some kind of tight corners are ahead. There are loads of cool SC2 units with abilities, but I'm too much of a nub to know about them because I haven't played the beta yet(hint hint ) The number of laps can be selected, and if wanted, you can choose to add refueling depots where you stop at depending on what faction you are, and that faction's workers come forth and refuel/repair your vehicle. This would add another aspect of fuel usage, the amount consumed depends on how much you crash into walls/bump into other racers. I'm also thinking of an upgrading system, possible upgrades would be adding more armor to your vehicle, so that you lose less fuel if you hit something. This means a player could bump vehicles to slow them down and take down their fuel amount, while the upgraded vehicle loses less fuel. A speed upgrade would be cool but I think that'd add too much of an advantage and make the race imbalanced. Hopefully, pandabearguy will be in the map editor(blizz was hinting at him being included in the game), he will have the special role of randomly walking around on the track trying to block the racers, just like he does on the middle bridges of desti(god damn you pbg, you've made me lose countless of goons when microing against an FD). In case he doesn't exist in sc2, other critters will haft to do. Speed boost gates (think the stargate but positioned vertically so you can drive through it) will be scattered around the map to add more depth to the race. There will be parts of the track where you gotta dodge funny stuff like ht's placing storms and if you drive through them your vehicle will stall from the electricity a little, or plague dodging and when you enter the dodging area a crazy sound loop of PLAYGUUUUUU PLAAYGUU PLAYGUUUUUU will play for the racer, or a bunch of reavers on the sides shooting scarabs across the map, these will explode and push you around, depending on where it hits you, the explosion could possibly push you forward and gain you some distance! These events will change at certain intervals to make the race more fun and varied. I'm thinking of portals that teleports you to short special segments, like you get warped into space and a couple of rocket boosters will be attached and you fly through some kinda space battle and dodge battlecruiser lazerzZZZ, or into another dimension with enormous supply depots made up like a city and you gotta navigate through it. These scenarios would also randomly change to make the map varied and fresh. Having a game master would be really cool, the GM could have a menu system to trigger traps on the track, and change map properties like changing a bunch of bridges' angles, which paves new paths and traps to be triggered. If possible, when the races finish, the game doesn't end there but goes to a kind of driver selection phase, where the observers can switch places and race instead and a new game master can be appointed. I've been pondering and tinkering, and this is what I've come up with. There are surely more fun and awesome ideas to implement, but great things don't complete over night. Thus I hope this map will sometime be made, improved and enjoyed by future Starcraft 2 players | ||

As most of you know you will be able to create Custom Games (UMS) with 3rd person view. (start at min 5) if you dont know what I mean. + Show Spoiler + Imagine some kind of Builders & Fighters. Each team will have a "commander" building the base while other players fighting around in this 3rd style-play, getting objectives and key possitions. The "commander" will be able to tech into new weapons and also support the battles with units. Key possitions could be like income bases, attack bonuses, spawnpoints, different commander units, etc etc... "Commanders" should be able to create alot of units, giving the game more action. But ofc these units will be much weaker than the 3rd person players. Letting the commander create more units will also make the game alot faster and more instense. Maybe like serious sam? Yes, this will be almost like Savage/Natural Selection in playstyle. But with the new SC2 Map Editor it will be awesome! Also no level system. Level systems are just stupid. + Show Spoiler + With the lack of Terran streams (I havent seen any) I will be perfect for this key. I will stream all dayes long, playing as Terran (I hope, love em in BW) and im not a completely D- WoW player ;} | ||

The player whos turn it is to draw enters the word he is drawing. Black background - white lines will be drawn by moving a cursor over the map. The other Players have to guess what the picture is. Well in the end the player whos guess is right gets points and the drawing player gets points -> that assures that the drawing player is not drawing shit Man now i want to play pictionary :D | ||
