The Chief Badasses v. T1 MagicNs Set 2 Winner Tree.Hugger "In actuality, I suck a lot of the time" CPL: How did it feel to contribute to your teams victory? Treehugger: Well, since I've been the team's anchor (CPL note: 'dead weight' ) so far, it felt good to do something useful for once. CPL: When you raped your opponent, was it a difficult upward journey, so to speak, or did you implement lubricant? Treehugger: Trade secret. CPL: After the rape was over, did you lie back and smoke a cigarette? Treehugger: I actually lit some incense, and smoked a suckling pig as an offering to Superkiller. CPL: How did you prepare for this match? Treehugger: Actually, I owe this win to sMi.Aurious, who technically plays protoss, but was kind enough to abuse his superior mechanics and play a set of games against me. He basically used every trick in the book (mass wraiths, lol) including two fact upgraded vultures, which is what I eventually faced. So I knew exactly how to respond. CPL: TheAntZ totally lost dude. Treehugger: Yeah its a shame. But Zozma showed his true colors by running scared when the time came to play ace against the bonjwa; Mauzel. CPL: If you could compare team 'THE CHIEF BADASSES' to a proteam, which would it be, and why? Treehugger: Well, I consider myself sKyHigh, because I have all this raw talent, but in actuality, I suck a lot of the time. But we're not CJ, we've got the depth, but we're all about even. We'll say STX. CPL: What are your plans for the coming week? Treehugger: Sleep, eat, study, play some frisbee, party with friends, maybe read a book. Why? CPL: How baller is Mauzel? on a scale of 1-jaedong? Treehugger: Look, I'm starting to suspect he IS Jaedong. CPL: Thank you for your time, lets get back on iccup and practice Treehugger: Yeah, lets. *** The Chief Badasses v. T1 MagicNs Set 4,5 Winner Mauzel "I'm good at ZvZ." CPL: Congratulations on your 2-0 victory! Mauzel: Thanks! I worked very hard this week. With other responsibilities it was hard to prepare for these matches. I'm glad that everything worked out. CPL: Your ling control was excellent... Mauzel: Well it's probably the main reason I'm good at ZvZ. Logic's ling tactics were very impressive. In the beginning of the match, he was thinking about everyway he could overcome the BO disadvantage. CPL: When lings slipped into your base in the ACE match, how were you able to keep your cool? Mauzel: I knew that if he lost these lings, he would be in a tough position to defend, so I just kept my drones alive while killing off his ling force. When the lings he hid came out, I knew that I could split my forces because he wouldn't have much defense at his base. CPL: You anticipated your opponent's build in both games. How did you pull the maphack off? Mauzel: First off, there's not that many viable builds in ZvZ, and the differences are pretty small. I was actually very surprised on Match Point. I thought that 12pool was probably the safest, strongest build on that map. I had confidence in my ling and muta micro, so I hoped for a mirror match. On Outsider, I was expecting a 9pool. The rush distances are very short, so with careful ling control, a 9pool can put a lot of pressure on a 12 pool. CPL: During the long cold nights, sleeping on the scratchy couch of the TCB house, and scrubbing the floors with a toothbrush, did you ever dream of this day? Mauzel: I used a cottonswab, not a toothbrush. CPL: Are you Jaedong? Mauzel: No, but I've got thunder thighs like Fei Long. CPL: Any words for your fellow teammates? Mauzel: We've had a somewhat rocky start. But I think that TCB has a lot of potential. Keep on practicing and we will dominate. CPL: How do you anticipate TCB performing in the next few matches? Mauzel: I can only see our team getting stronger. TCB Fighting! CPL: Thank you for your time, you should get back to practicing that death stare Mauzel: *glares* | ||
