So I'm a junior at university right now. Psych major-- nothing special. I have a shit ton of work.
edit: cut out stuff that doesn't matter.
12/14—Psychological Measurement: Final project draft due. 12/14—Developmental Psychology: Paper 3 12/17—Psychopathology: Final paper exam. 12/17—Greek History: Final examination (9-12 PM). 12/20—Developmental Psychology: Final examination. 12/22—Psychological Measurement: 20 page final project due + class presentations (2-5 PM).
This is my schedule for the rest of the week, and I am absolutely... terrified. It's going to absolutely blow, and I hate knowing I have to deal with it soon. I'm basically whining here, but the calm before the storm makes me feel really anxious.
Finals suck, final papers suck, final projects suck, fuck end of semester work.
What do you guys have to do to finish this semester off? Post your busy, busy end of semester schedules, and smile knowing that other people won't be sleeping much either!

Psych is easy and you're just being lazy.

It's easy, just watch the movie Troy

Maybe you should stop wasting time on TL and actually start your work?

Anyways, you should probably not be on TL if you have so much work to do. Just a thought.

I never said psych was hard, and never said i wasn't being lazy. is there something unnatural about not wanting to do a concentrated amount of work? =)

lol yeah-- my friends and I watched 300 after our first lecture on the greco-persian wars. we realized that the battle at the end of the movie is actually the battle of platea!

That doesnt seem so bad to me. I have definitely had far worse. Talk to me when you are running on 5 hours of sleep a night for 2 months because your entire life consists of writing/debugging code.

I feel you man, finals week blows and I can't wait until I finish my speech final monday. Discrete mathematics are 6 tomorrow is going to suck, I haven't gone to more than 5 classes.

Edit: I'm probably being too harsh, and this is probably your first semester where you really had to do work. Get used to it!

Undergrad is a joke comparatively.
If you had neurology in the mix, it certainly builds scientific credibility, but like religion, psychology has multiple theories that cannot be disproved by a matter of fact, they are relative to personalized interpretations, and that makes it such a difficult practice to be accurate.

Eh, this is a normal amount of schoolwork...

Try Biology + Music (my majors). Or better, EE + Physics for the ultimate experience.

Undergrad is a joke comparatively. Most people that I know who major in it do it only to get a high science GPA for when they apply to med school, which i don't think is a half bad idea. It's not like a chem or orgo major will help you much when you're in med school, nor will a physics major. (obviously they'll help on the MCAT but nothing past that) A bio major will give you a slight edge, but that edge is still quite little.
