I C C U P F I G H T I N G
On a more related note I will not be streaming for the rest of the month due to lack of bandwidth (I think I have 12 GB of bandwidth left now). If I go over my "limit" I lose internet for a year with comcast pretty much according to my brother. QQ
Edit: I put that ^--- in my stream thread before but I have a feeling nobody reads that section of TL

I think you're just charged for the extra usage... I don't think they'd take away your internet. However, its not worth streaming just to get charged so good luck in the TSL, try to avoid those cheesing turds.

Erm, yeah, I wonder if that's what he meant...
Kawaiiiiiiiiii... I'm a supervisor at Comcast. ^_^
http://www.comcast.net/terms/use/#network
Are there restrictions on data consumption that apply to the Service? The Service is for personal and non-commercial residential use only. Therefore, Comcast reserves the right to suspend or terminate Service accounts where data consumption is not characteristic of a typical residential user of the Service as determined by the company in its sole discretion. Comcast has established a monthly data consumption threshold per Comcast High-Speed Internet account of 250 Gigabytes (“GB”). Use of the Service in excess of 250GB per month is excessive use and is a violation of the Policy. See the Network Management page at http://www.comcast.net/terms/network/ for more information and to learn how Comcast applies this Policy to excessive use. Common activities that may cause excessive data consumption in violation of this Policy include, but are not limited to, numerous or continuous bulk transfers of files and other high capacity traffic using (i) file transfer protocol (“FTP”), (ii) peer-to-peer applications, and (iii) newsgroups. You must also ensure that your use of the Service does not restrict, inhibit, interfere with, or degrade any other person's use of the Service, nor represent (as determined by Comcast in its sole discretion) an overly large burden on the network. In addition, you must ensure that your use of the Service does not limit or interfere with Comcast's ability to deliver and monitor the Service or any part of its network. If you use the Service in violation of the restrictions referenced above, that is a violation of this Policy. In these cases, Comcast may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your Service account or request that you subscribe to a version of the Service (such as a commercial grade Internet service, if appropriate) if you wish to continue to use the Service at higher data consumption levels. Comcast may also provide versions of the Service with different speed and data consumption limitations, among other characteristics, subject to applicable Service plans. Comcast's determination of the data consumption for Service accounts is final.
Bolded the important part. We will pretty much never terminate service if it's a first offense... maybe send an angry letter/e-mail/phone call telling you never to do it again, but that'd be it.

Really? Frick... Comcast is hardcore. Cogeco doesn't put a limit... they just charge you $1.50 a GB over the usage, and only up to 30 dollars in extra charges...

Considering where you live Kawaii, they're never going to terminate you if you go over 1TB, I don't think they'll have enough node and bandwidth congestions where you are from. They only implement that so they can kick the heavy usage off. I go over all the time by hundreds =). Don't kill me ET

That's too bad, I enjoyed watching your casts

I ain't gonna kill you, you're pretty much spot on. We don't really care about people going way over, hence all the 'at our discretion' stuff. It's only when someone is sapping a ton of bandwidth on a more congested node that it's actually affecting other users.
We only set a limit because there were some whiny fucks who knowingly slaughtered bandwidth, were asked to stop, and refused because they didn't have a hard number. It's an insanely tiny amount of our userbase that even approaches these kind've numbers. There are more people who use turn on their computer once a week to check outlook express, and that's it.

That's weird meeple lol. Cogeco here, after I downloaded over 80 gigs of music in two weeks, cut off my internet for a day. Randomly. Then they said if I were to download another gig of anything this month, they'd cut me off for another day. And they did. LOL.
Then my mom thought changing to sympatico would be better. The limits 20 gb a month, and if I go even a gb over, they charge an extra 30$. WTF?!

Ah I've done the sympatico too. You can just pay $5 and get an extra 40GB added to your account. It was just too slow for me. Maybe you're at a "congested node" or whatnot... but I haven't heard of a bandwidth limit... I download probably 100GB over my limit every month, and just pay the 30 bucks extra and I've never had a problem.

dont give up hope kawaii! i will surely miss your stream, as I was really enjoying watching you climb the TSL ranks. good luck my friend!

ps when TSL is over you should switch back to your MizukiNana name. I'm sure Nana would love to know that one of her foreign fans is raping people in Starcraft in her name. I'm sure she even knows what Starcraft is, for that matter.
http://jouttex.otadesho.com/mizuki-nana-fanclub-event-iv-report/ Important Nana news by the way
2nd, upcoming singles in January 13 PHANTOM MINDS and February 10 Silent Bible.. which is already an old news now ^^;
So on top of the one I already told you about, another single on February 10th :D.
Okay I'm done being a Nana fanboy, back to Starcraft.
