I C C U P F I G H T I N G On a more related note I will not be streaming for the rest of the month due to lack of bandwidth (I think I have 12 GB of bandwidth left now). If I go over my "limit" I lose internet for a year with comcast pretty much according to my brother. QQ Edit: I put that ^--- in my stream thread before but I have a feeling nobody reads that section of TL   | ||

Comcast is hardcore. Cogeco doesn't put a limit... they just charge you $1.50 a GB over the usage, and only up to 30 dollars in extra charges... | ||

It's an insanely tiny amount of our userbase that even approaches these kind've numbers. There are more people who use turn on their computer once a week to check outlook express, and that's it. | ||

Cogeco here, after I downloaded over 80 gigs of music in two weeks, cut off my internet for a day. Randomly. Then they said if I were to download another gig of anything this month, they'd cut me off for another day. And they did. LOL. Then my mom thought changing to sympatico would be better. The limits 20 gb a month, and if I go even a gb over, they charge an extra 30$. WTF?! | ||

It was just too slow for me. Maybe you're at a "congested node" or whatnot... but I haven't heard of a bandwidth limit... I download probably 100GB over my limit every month, and just pay the 30 bucks extra and I've never had a problem. | ||
