Uh.. when you spam... what are you spamming? I certainly don't hit a s p o or whatever unit command key. Too scared of stopping all my scvs while I drag select all my miner scvs and stuff lol. I spam 12312312131 repeatedly o_O
Macro keys are whatever you use to get back to your production buildings. If you hotkey a building then that would be your macro key. (I use 2, so I double tap 2. Hotkeying a screen would be F2 or F3 then, like Misrah said)

Edit: If you can't use 0-9... why can't you use the numbers? Are you just not used to reaching up there? After doing it many times it should become second nature and then you'll get faster... if i cant use 0-9 (Numbers) why can i use the numbers (0-9?)
And sorry there I was indirectly asking you why you say you can't use 0-9 but I guess I should have been more direct. lol

Apm is important, just watch any progamer. But doing an active effort to increase your apm just to increase your apm is stupid. What I can recommend you for improving your apm for the sake of carrying out your game better is: Keep your hands warm. A good way to do this is fx to spam a bit in the start of the game, playing in a warm room and such kind of things. When your hands are cold you simply cannot perform aswell, and your apm will decrease in a way affecting your game. Know what you want to do. If you got everything in early game planned out and are quite sure about your midgame plan, you will know which tasks you want to do. Knowing what to do is obviously not enough, but here comes your need for a potentially higher apm. You now have a clear need of a higher apm instead of a "man I can't win anything with an apm below 100"-attitude, and trust me, it'll help you improve your game so much more than beforementioned.
So really; when you play, know what you want to do (and I by no means mean a deep stategical insight, just like a basic BO and plan), see where your apm limits you and work from there. Hope it helps -.-.

Kenpachi doesnt need to have apm, he used brute force

apm are important. but 0-9 + fkeys are more important for a protoss a good way to learn how to do apm is to learn a build order and pratice it like no tomorrow
|
I'm probably going to lose to a guy with 20 apm tomorrow.

Why are you training your APM instead of practicing a particular matchup or build? Koreans with high apm spam moves constantly because they are performing micro and macro actions back to back.
If you have low apm chances are you lack micro or macro and you need to refine your mechanics which overtime will increase your apm.
Use your F-keys, Hotkeys, dont click actions you can use the keyboard (ie upgrades), etc
Play smoother, multi-task better, you dont need to spam (spamming doesnt make you a better player) and all of your actions should count for something.

There is no such thing as "losing because I don't have APM." There are players at C+ and B level with ~100 APM.

higher apm comes from knowing the build inside out and knowing what to do with out thinking. you "can" train apm to some extent, but if you are constantly thinking about your next move or whatnot, you aren't going to be able to keep your eapm up regardless

why do you wanna use 9-0?
I mean, I use it for nexus and probes, and I never take my right hand off the mouse. Im fine clicking any keys with my left hand. Maybe just use the left hand?
Anyway, a lot of protoss save nexus on 4-5 or even lower.

I think your special eye patch is eating some of your apm reiatsu.
Remove this when you are about to 'get serious' during a game. That should fix your problem.
Also remember, to use both hands, that is much more powerful than just using one hand.

don't fight with people who wear masks. Of course you wouldn't know if its on iccup.
Also, try to take criticism positively instead of react like a kid to everything others say.
P.s. try to find out the name of your zealot's zanpaktou while your at it.

100 is ridiculously low for starcraft. I don't care what anybody says.

I sorta want training to USE the 1a2a3a keys which will raise my APM.
I lowered my mouse sensitivity so i can use my numbers more efficiently. I always have the urge to stop using what i hotkeyed and use my mouse for everything

seriously some of the things you're trying to tell us is useless if you don't actually use it. Don't go around saying "oh halp my mouse sucks cos i don't use the keyboard *whine*" etc. ad nauseum. Considering P is the easiest introductory race to start with i don't see why you would want to complain so much over something so unnecessary.
Now switch to T/Z =P

I changed from P to Z out of Boredom/ amazingness of Jaedong. I changed from Z to T out of Boredom. I changed from T to P out of Boredom/Frustration. Protoss is hard to use. when i ment 1a2a3a, 1a2a3a were just examples. i find it unnessecary to do anything like 6z7z8z since it takes a longer time to do that... im training to use my hotkeys so i can get my left hand to move faster on the keyboard. o_o... i play piano...

If you can't use 09, why not trying to use the progamer protoss method of keeping probe production under control? Basically they use F2 and F3 and F4 and center them around their first three nexus's. then they just cycle through like that. Although it isn't as convenient, since you play the piano it shouldn't be hard. Think of it like jumping from one chord to another or something until you're accustomed to the awkwardness first presented
