Fuck it I'll write a blog too about the same shit everyone else wrote about - different angle.
StorrZerg and LuckyFool picked me up Thursday night and we fuckin rolled out from DC heading to NY (rockstars). Drive didn't take too long at all, about 3 hours. Sadly, the GPS was fucked up and it took us to the wrong 870 7th ave --> chemical plant? I said to myself "uh wtfux this isn't wcg"... so ya after about 2 hours of getting lost in fucking retarded ass NY we finally found the little Chinaman and the hotel.
Sleeping on the floor in between Kawaii and iNkA was cool.
So ya... Friday rolls around, I meet up with all the other nerdlings and we roll out to the convention center. So unlike last year the players didn't get guest passes, and I was like "ya fuck paying $70 or w/e to get the weekend pass" ... so I just rolled on down the escalator past the security and walked right in, and nobody stopped me. I had to wait around for about an hour before anyone was let in so I went to the bathroom, fixed my shirt, tied my tie, and walked around as if I owned the place. It was fucking creeping me out being down there with ONLY anime fans and no SC people for an hour, I was getting panic attacks trying to not shoot myself.... but ya, the players eventually got down.
Games started and stuff, etc etc. Afterwards we walked out, people split up into two groups somehow, I ended up with the EG folks and they paid for my dinner (awesome, thanks EG)... after that uh I kinda forgot what we did to be honest.
Saturday, I walked straight in again (so ez!)... more BW games. My lover Gretorp showed up so I was very happy about that. After a bunch of us went to eat... we split into groups again (wtfux)... we were trying to decide what to eat and everything was expensive as fuck so we just went to Subway and ate in Louder's room. Then we went to the player party, had an awesome time (GG ANDRE RAPED YOUR ASS AT AIR HOCKEY), went back to Artosis' hotel room, w/e.... sleep.
Sunday was brief, then long ass ride back.

Sounds like a good time. 70 dollars for an anime convention....actually that's not THAT expensive come to think about it.

Xeris I love how you dress up and just look like you belong and you can get into anything. I kinda pulled that at the party on Saturday night but I paid the 40 dollars for the convention on Saturday.
