I'll forever think of GGPlay as the hive tech zerg. He had many minor flaws in his play over the years, but when he reached hive tech and was even with his opponent, the game was usually over. It was literally scary sometimes watching how fast he swarmed all over the map once everything kicked in. Daum OSL was one of my favorite leagues of all time, and his play vs Hwasin, Flash and Iris was absolutely amazing. Normally when a series goes from 0-2 to 3-2 like that you claim the other player choked, but Iris was far far from it. His play was amazing to the end, and it was clear that GGPlay wholly earned the victory.

I remember being so mad during Incruit when he lost to fantasy's boring mech builds. What a painful time for TvZ that was. Zergs did so badly vs mech, and it just doesn't have the excitement that bio play does. But that was then and this is now.

The Daum OSL final was the first one I actually watched live. It was an amazing victory by GGPlay T_T

I'm really saddened to see one of my favourite zergs go - but he wil surely be missed. [damn you carpal tunnel lol]
