Yay, my mini-project has been completed.
The objective was to find a way to fit all my computer equipment in my small computer room and for my girlfriend and I to be able to be able to hang out in the same room. She used to use my laptop in the living room while I sat in here. I also had shit everywhere.
On the main desk:
- 24" Dell and 17" Samsung dual-monitor setup - Some Razer & Logitech peripherals & speakers - Dell XPS desktop - top shelf: my Lego toy, a Wacom tablet, printer, and two external HDs
On small desk:
- some more Razer peripherals - Dell XPS laptop
It took quite a bit of work finding the right desk and setting up everything. But the result:

the main desk's chair seems to lack back support

Yeah. But the desk is so high you wind up leaning forward a bit, not back.
I have bad posture sometimes, this forces me to sit right

i thought your girlfriend was fat but it's a pillow :S
i'd switch the printer and external HDs positions in case they fall over o_O

Hehe, she weighs about 90 lbs. Probably her wearing one of my tshirts doesn't help either.

I actually use a high chair for my desktop because it really sprains my shoulder all day after playing 2 hours of SC.
P.S. I envy you that you have two computers

HAHA me too XD Unfortuantely her shirt is the same color as the pillow. Anyway, nice setup, very elegant in a minimal sort of way.

Good call. Though they are more stable than they may appear in the picture.

Interesting high desk. I have a similar chair, only it doesn't have any back at all (lol). And I too thought that that was a fat person, namely a fat Native American man, before clicking for the larger version.

How can you sit on such a chair for long periods of time? With a desk that's too high to boot. Can't the table be lowered?
+ Show Spoiler +Also, who's the whale to the right? lol

lol I think your "small computer room" is bigger than my room. My room has a bed and my computer in it, which I have to cram in my closet LOL + Show Spoiler +On September 05 2009 16:20 paper wrote: i thought your girlfriend was fat but it's a pillow :S sorry, I thought so too for a minute =/

you guys are really funny, ever seen fat girl with skinny arms?
Oh and you should give her bigger screen and extern keyboard so she could enjoy WoW more
|
I actually thought the person was OP and the back support comment was a reference to the fat/short person's horrible posture (pushing pelvis up and sliding back way down the chair with neck head straightened out). lol

Shes playing wow... BLASPHEMY
