This weekend. at horrible times for east coast. 4am i think?
in 17 hours for the first one (won't work to well for most people since people want to go to work)
but watching the games at 4am might be possible this Saturday at 4am.
edited the times. (should be correct 4am)

I fucking hate how all the pro games come on at 4-5AM over here. It's literally the WORST possible time. You either have to stay up really late OR wake up really early.

The semis was at midnight.. which was good SIGH...
Gah... Friday night and early the next morning are no good for me. T_T;;
But if we could get a group of people who wanted to watch it during the day, and record it and not look at spoilers? That would be awesome! ^.^
That could work. Saturday evening? if the vods are up might work?
That would work for me, o.o;
Lemme ask my landlord if he would mind letting us use his HDTV for something like this! Hehe
Sweet. though HD doesn't really matter does it lol
if all else fails we can have it set up on a few laptops and monitors all over
HD doesn't matter? o.O;
Where are we getting these vods from? lol. I assumed they would be dled from the TL tracker. Those usually have pretty good resolution, yes?
I know I've tried to watch the GOMTV classic vods on a regular TV, and it was pretty hard to see what was going on.
well yeah but SC can't go into hd its a 640/480 resolution game.
it can be high quality though just not HD
Nonetheless I think it'll be more convenient for viewers to all watch it on one big screen than to huddle over a collection of laptops.
Alrighty, no luck on a TV at my place, but we do have FIOS, so if we had a screen to watch stuff on, it could be streamed or dled no problem.
Oh damn, I have plans this weekend so I can't come. Guess I'll have to skip this one too.
I can probably bring a 32" hdtv if haemonculus wants to host.
that would be sweet. (you have wireless right?) would orb be there? possibly more epic 2v2's before the matches?
Yuppers, we've got wireless! And if that fails, I'm sure we can find a spare router and a bunch of ethernet cords.
Do enough people have laptops though? Orb is certainly invited to come with, but his computer is totally immobile. On the other hand, his parents are out of town this weekend to my knowledge... could we play there? (I'll ask him when he gets home)
What day works best for you all? I know I'm going out clubbing and such tonight, and tomorrow night, but not sure about Saturday yet. Would Saturday evening work for people? Or perhaps Sunday during the day?
I'll ask my landlord if I could host something like this. He should have no problem with it at all, but I just want to check. We've only lived here for like a week, and so obviously we're still moving stuff. I still haven't gotten any of my furniture over yet T_T; (Need people to help me carry stuff.) So the place looks a bit barren, but is very nice and spacious and would be perfect for watching some SC ownage, ^.^

Oh. My. God. I am so happy you said that. I definitely go to GMU, and I was definitely wondering how to find other people there who play. Get back to me. Jesus. besides TL and getting lucky idk. probably have a few more that play that don't do TL. Oh cmon, have a little more enthusiasm hahaha. This may be a stupid question, but I can assume that you too go to GMU? On top of that, I looked at the player location thread and there are at least three other people in fairfax. How many people do we need for a team? Oh, and then there's the elusive groups of Koreans my friend spotted playing Starcraft in the JC hahahaha. Dude, we got this.
i tried to infiltrate the Korean Student association but i'm to white. all they wanted to talk about was newb dota TT
we might have to put posters up, it would be totally worth it though have try outs xD
You have my complete cooperation when it comes to setting this up. It would make my day. I have a couple friends up there who "play," but they aren't nearly good enough. For example, I beat my terran friend by sunken-rushing his cliff on Medusa, and later beat him again with nothing but lings, scourges and defilers hahaha. But yeah, I'm sending you a (nother) PM.
thanks got it btw quote is from July vs Best after game on andro?
Hahaha yessir! Klazart was freakin hysterical in that game. He had numerous great quotes, including "all ye doubters be banished to hellfire" and "somebody get that man a hamburger." I love his casts. He talks at like 200 miles an hour, so he occasionally gets mixed up and accidentally calls zerglings siege tanks, stuff like that, but he's very good for the most part.
